Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination (JNUEE) 2019 & 
Combined Entrance Examination for Biotechnology (CEEB) 2019 May 2019

The NTA will conduct the next JNUEE 2019 and CEEB 2019 examinations from 27 May to 30 May, 2019. The Test will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode only. 
The candidates are required to apply online between 15 March, 2019 to 15 April, 2019. The fees can be paid up to 16 April, 2019.

About JNUEE (JNU Entrance Examination) 

Admission to JNU is based on the performance of candidates in the All India Level Entrance Examination. The final selection is based upon the performance in the CBT for all programmes of study, except M.Phil. and Ph.D. For Selection in M.Phil. and Ph.D. candidates are called for Viva voce and final merit list for selection is made with 70% weightage for CBT score and 30% weightage for Viva. About CEEB (Combined Entrance Examination for Biotechnology) 

Jawaharlal Nehru University has been conducting the Combined Entrance Examination for Biotechnology [CEEB] programme on behalf of Department of Biotechnology (DBT) for 54 participating Universities for admitting students to four Masters Programmes in Biotechnology i.e. M.Sc.Biotechnology [33 Universities], M. Sc. Agricultural Biotechnology [11 Universities], M. VSc. [03 Universities] and M. Tech. Biotechnology [07 Universities].

Syllabus for the test 

The Question Papers for the test (JNUEE 2019 and CEEB 2019) shall be based on the syllabus prescribed by the JNU which is available at website https://jnu.ac.in/admission/e-prospectus-2019-20.pdf and https://ntajnu.nic.in.

Age Limit 

The Minimum Age limit for B.A. (Hons.) Programme is 17 years as on 1 October 2019. There is no age bar for any other programme.

Counseling Schedule for admission to MD/MS/MDS in Haryana

Counseling for admission to MD/MS/MDS courses in all-Government, Government Aided/ Private Unaided Medical/ Dental Institutes including those under private universities - SGT University, Budhera, Gurugram, PDM University Bahadurgarh in the state of Haryana for the Academic Session 2019-20 

Department of Medical Education and Research Haryana has notified that admission to PG courses for the academic session 2019-20 shall be conducted through an Online Combined Centralized Counselling in all-Government, Government Aided/ Private Unaided Medical/ Dental Institutes including those under private universities - SGT University, Budhera, Gurugram, PDM University Bahadurgarh in the state of Haryana on the basis of merit list prepared as per the marks obtained in the NEET PG 2019 and NEET MDS 2019 conducted by National Board of Examination (NBE).

Admit Card for the posts of HCS(Ex.Br.) & other Allied Services- 2017 Exam

HSSC has notified that the Haryana Public Service Commission is going to conduct the Preliminary Examination for the posts of HCS(Ex.Br.) & other Allied Services- 2017 on 31.03.2019 (Sunday) at various Cities of Haryana alongwith Chandigarh in two sessions (Morning 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon & Evening 03:00 PM to 05:00 PM). Only those candidates who qualify the Preliminary Examination would be admitted for Mains Examination. 

Admit Card-

The admit Cards alongwith instructions to the Candidates for the HCS (Ex.Br.) & other Allied Services preliminary Examination - 2017 will be available on Commission's website from 16.03.2019 and the candidates can download the same from the Commission's website i.e. http://www.hpsc.gov.in/.

Admit cards are not being sent separately to individual candidates.

Candidates are directed that they may download the admit card on A-4 size paper so that their photos & other particulars can easily be seen / verified. Candidates having small size Admit Cards with illegible photos / signatures will not be allowed. to enter in the Examination centre.

The candidates who find any error which is attributable to the Commission, with respect to their Name, Father's Name, Category, Date of Birth etc. in their Admit Cards, can contact the Commission's office, in person or on telephone No. 0172-2585805 upto 26.03.2019 for necessary rectifications in the Admit Card. 

It is made clear that any effot committed by the applicant himself / herself at the time of filling the application form will not be rectified. Any type of rectification in the admit cards will not be carried out after 26.03.2019 by the Commission. 
It is made clear that admission to the Preliminary Examination is provisional. At this stage, all the candidates are being allowed provisionally subject to the fulfillment of all eligibility conditions. The parameter with regards to the fulfillment of eligibility conditions and correctness of facts submittd by the candidates in their online application form will be checked when the candidates come in the zone of consideration for Mains examination i.e. twelve times the number of advertised vacancies, including bracketed candidates (if any)

Notes: 

1. A Physically Handicapped (Partially Blind) candidate, if any, rvho rvants the help of a scribe for writing his/her paper, may apply to the Commission for seeking permission of having a scribe latest upto 25.03.2019 and thereafter, no such request will be entertained by the Commission. No such permission will be granted by the Centre Supervisor

CENTRAL UNIVERSITIES COMMON ENTRANCE TEST (CUCET)- 2019 Schedule, Eligibility, Seats, Admit Card, Answer Key, Merit List, Counselling 

14 Central Universities, established by an act of Parliament and the Bengaluru Dr. B. R. Ambedkar School of Economics registered under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act of 1960, jointly organize Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET-2019) for various Programmes.

Admit Card 

Admit Card for written examination of the candidates will be uploaded on the Commission Web-site i.e. www.hssc.gov.in
The candidates can download the admit cards from the Commission Web-site from 22.04.2019-onwards. 
Candidates are advised to read the instructions on the Admit Card carefully and follow the same strictly. 
No separate information will be sent to the candidates by the Commission through post.

Syllabus for Written Examination 

The examination for the said post will comprise of 90 multiple choice questions of 90 minutes duration and divided into two portions comprising:- 
i) 75% weightage for General awareness, Reasoning, Maths, Science, English, Hindi or Concerned or Relevant Subject as applicable. 

ii) 25% weightage for History, Current Affairs, Literature, Geography, Civics, Environment, Culture etc. of Haryana. 
Each question will carry one marks

Selection Criteria 

Total Marks: 100 marks 
I. Written Examination- 90 marks
II. Socio-Economic criteria and experience: 10 marks 

a) If no person from among the applicant’s father, mother, spouse, brothers and sons is, was or has been regular employee in any Department/Board/Corporation/Company/Statutory Body/ Commission/ Authority of Government of Haryana or any other State Government or Government of India. (5 marks) 

b) Orphan/Widow: 
i) If the applicant is Widow; or 
ii) If the applicant is the first or the second child and his father had died before attaining the age of 42 years, or 
iii) If the applicant is the first or the second child and his father had died before the applicant had attained the age of 15 years. (5 marks) 

c) If the applicant belongs to such a denotified tribe (Vimukt Jatis and Tapriwas Jatis) or Nomadic tribe of Haryana which is neither a Scheduled Caste nor a Backward Class. (5 marks) 

d) Experience: 
One-half (=0.5) mark for each year or part thereof exceeding six month of experience, out of a maximum of 10 years, on the same or a higher post in any Department/ Board/ Corporation/ Company/ Statutory Body/ Commission/ Authority of Government of Haryana. 
No marks will be awarded for any period less than six months. (A maximum of 8 marks) 
Note:- 
1. No applicant shall be given more than 10 marks for socio economic criteria and experience under any circumstances. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION TO MBBS COURSE

(i) The Applicant should be an Indian National / Overseas Citizen of India.
(ii) He/She has completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December 2019, the year of his/her admission to the first year M.B.B.S i.e. they should have been born on or before 01-01-2003. (Request for relaxation from the prescribed age limit will not be considered for any category of applicants). No upper age limit.
(iii) The applicants should have passed the qualifying examinations in the manner as mentioned below:
(a) The Higher / Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate
Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher / Senior Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of such study comprising Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Bio-technology (which shall include practical tests in these subjects) or any other elective with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training after introduction of the 10+2+3 educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education (Annexure - I list the examinations recognized by JIPMER)
(b) The Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination other than those mentioned in the list appended in Annexure – I, will have to submit an Eligibility Certificate before admission is finalized. Obtaining such an Eligibility Certificate from Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi is essential for OCI/NRI for admission to JIPMER M.B.B.S. Course.
(c) The applicant must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Bio-technology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Bio-technology at the qualifying examination for general (UR) / EWSs category.
(d) For PwD candidates in general category the minimum marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology taken together in the qualifying examination is 45%.
(e) For candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribe or Other Backward Classes / PwD, the minimum marks obtained in the Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Bio-technology taken together in the qualifying examination is 40%.
Note: 
Applicants who have appeared or will be appearing in the qualifying
Examination in March / April 2019 and whose results have NOT yet been
declared can also apply for admission, if other eligibility criteria (i) (ii) & (iii)
are satisfied.
Please note that issue of hall ticket for the Entrance Examination does NOT
necessarily mean the acceptance of eligibility for candidates whose results of

ENTRANCE EXAMINATION

 Entrance Examination will be conducted through a Computer Based Test (CBT) [Online] only.
 The examination shall be held on Sunday, 02ndJUNE, 2019.
 The duration of the examination shall be 21⁄2 hours (Two hours and Thirty minutes).
 The Online (CBT) Entrance Examination will be conducted in two shifts:
Morning Shift / First shift : 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM
Afternoon Shift / Second shift: 03:00 PM to 05:30 PM
 Therefore all candidates will be required to appear at CBT Online Entrance
Examination, which will be conducted on Sunday, 02ndJUNE, 2019 in either one of the shifts (10:00 AM to 12:30 PM (OR) 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM) as allotted by the competent authority
 The venue, time and shift of the examination will be communicated to the candidates in the Hall Ticket.
 No candidate will be permitted to appear in the examination unless he/she holds a valid "Hall ticket"issued by the Institute and a proof of his / her identification.

METHOD OF ENTRANCE EXAMINATION:

 The examination shall be conducted in ENGLISH medium ONLY.
 The Entrance Examination is common to all and consists of 200 single best response type
MCQs having four alternatives and the questions will be asked from the following subjects.

HALL TICKETS

Hall Tickets for the Entrance Examination shall be available for download to
candidates whose applications are complete in all respects, from 20.05.2019 (Monday) 10.00 AM onwards (Tentative)
 The Hall Ticket will contain
(1) Name and date of birth as typed by the candidate in the application
(2) Photo and signature image as uploaded by the candidate
(3) Examination City allotted and Roll Number
 NO change in the category / age / name / DOB (Date of Birth) will be entertained after
submission of application. The candidates in such case have to apply afresh before the closing
date.
 Request for rectification / change of any other details in the hall ticket shall NOT be considered under any circumstance.
 Candidates will NOT be allowed to appear for the Entrance Examination unless he/she produce the hall ticket from the JIPMER website at the exam centres along with ID proof in original & a photocopy of the same.
