Online applications are invited for direct recruitment of under mentioned categories of posts using the website of HARYANA STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION i.e. www.hssc.gov.in. Candidates should fill up the application form only after going through the instructions. The online application can be filled up from 22.02.2019 to 25.03.2019 till 11.59 P.M.

IISER ADMISSION 2019 Schedule, Process, Seats, Syllabus, Admit Card, Result & Counseling

To promote high-quality science education, research, and training, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, has set up seven Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs) at Berhampur, Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram, and Tirupati.

Degree Programmes

BS-MS (Dual Degree)

It is a five-year degree program for bright and motivated science students who have passed class 10+2 or equivalent. The program integrates classroom learning with research and provides ample scope for multidisciplinary interactions. The program consists of core courses in basic sciences and specialization in chosen subjects along with an MS research project. The training during the program enables students to pursue careers in academia, R&D institutes, and industries.

*Additionally, IISER Bhopal offers four year BS programmes in Economics and Engineering Sciences.Mathematics at 10+2 level is mandatory for candidates seeking admission to both these BS programmes.

Scholarship

KVPY scholars admitted to IISERs would draw fellowship as per KVPY norms. In addition, a limited number of INSPIRE scholarships will be available for candidates admitted through JEE Advanced and SCB channel as applicable as per the norms prescribed by DST INSPIRE scheme. This supersedes all earlier announcements regarding scholarship.

Admission Schedule-

The admission process to the BS and BS-MS (Dual-Degree) programmes of IISERs for the year 2019 will start by April 2019. 

Eligibility

There are three channels of admission. Candidates will be admitted to IISER only through these channels.
1. Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) channel
2. Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Advanced) of the Indian Institutes of Technology
3. State and Central Boards Channel (SCB)
These channels will be referred to as KVPY, JEE and SCB, respectively.

Indian nationals and students belonging to PIO or OCI category are eligible to apply provided they satisfy the eligibility criteria described below.

KVPY Channel

Candidates having a valid KVPY fellowship commencing from 2019-20 academic session are eligible to apply for admissions. Additional cut-off criteria are applicable. Please see the cut-off criteria here.

Candidates in General category securing a rank within 10000 in the Common Rank List (CRL) of JEE Advanced 2019 are eligible to apply. For candidates belonging to the reserved category (OBC-NC, SC, ST, PD), their category rank should be within 10000. Additional cut-off criteria are applicable. Please see the cut-off criteria here.

SCB Channel

Students who have passed 10+2 level with science stream in 2018 or 2019 are eligible to apply for admissions and appear for IAT 2019.
However, they will be considered for admissions to the degree programmes only if they obtain the cut-off marks specified for their board. Please see the cut-off criteria here.

Students applying through SCB channel will have to appear in the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) which will be conducted at various centres across the country.

Aptitude Test (IAT) 2019 

IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2019 will be conducted in fully computer-based test mode. IAT 2019 is likely to be held in June 2019.

NEST 2019 Schedule & Syllabus

NEST 2019 Schedule & Syllabus Entrance test for admission to 5-year Integrated MSc Program, 2019-24 at National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai - Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS) Mumbai

Educational qualification: 

Candidates seeking admission to NISER and UM–DAE CEBS for the integrated MSc programme 2019–24 should be from regular science stream only (Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics) in classes XI and XII. It is mandatory for all aspiring candidates to write the NEST 2019 examination. Admission will be offered strictly on the basis of Merit List of NEST 2019. Additionally, candidates must have passed class XII examination or equivalent from any recognised Board in India in the years 2017 or 2018 or be appearing for the same in 2019. Candidates who are appearing for the board examination in 2019 must pass it by the time of admission into the program. Also, candidates must secure at least 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in class XII examination to be eligible for admission to NISER and CEBS. For candidates belonging to scheduled castes (SC), scheduled tribes (ST) and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories, the minimum requirement of marks is relaxed to 55% in aggregate. Where only letter grades are available, a certificate from the concerned Board specifying equivalent percentage of marks is required to be submitted. In absence of such a certificate, the decision of the admissions committee of the concerned institution will be final. 

Age limit: 

General and OBC category candidates born on or after August 01, 1999 are eligible for admission to the integrated MSc programme of NISER/CEBS. The age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC / ST / PwD candidates.

Eligibility criteria summary: 

a candidate becomes eligible for the programme when he/she satisfies following all four criteria: 
(a) Secures a position in the NEST merit list. Please refer to page–9 of this document for rules of merit list preparation. 
(b) Pass the XII standard board examination or equivalent in the science stream in the years 2017 or 2018 or 2019 from any recognised Higher Secondary Education Board in India. 
(c) Secures at least 60% in aggregate in the XII standard board examination. For SC/ST/PwD students the requirement is 55%.
(d) Born on or after August 01, 1999. For SC/ST/PwD students the limit is relaxed by five years.

Note: 
necessary certificates supporting eligibility criteria have to be furnished only at the time of admission. Offer of admission is subject to verification of all original certificates at the time of admission/counselling. 

Certificates in proof of eligibility criteria need not be produced for appearing in NEST 2019 examination. There is no restriction on appearing for NEST–2019 examination. 

How to apply: 

To apply for NEST 2019, candidates must fill–up the online application form through www.nestexam.in on or after January 07, 2019. 

Online application process closes on March 11, 2019. Application can be submitted only through NEST 2019 website. There is no other mode of application submission. Login credentials for logging into application submission and fee payment portals will be provided upon online registration.

Application Fee: 

The application fee for the male candidates of General and OBC categories is ₹1,200/–. 
The application fee for candidates in the SC/ST/PwD categories and for all female candidates is ₹600/–. 
Payments can be made using credit card/debit card/net–banking through online payment gateway. 
Candidates need not send any document to NEST office in the entire application process.

Admit card: 

The admit card for NEST 2019 will be available for downloading from April 24, 2019. Admit cards will NOT be dispatched to any applicant. Applicants must download their admit cards from NEST website (after login). The download link will be available only till the day of examination.

The online enrollment for CLAT 2019 will open on 13th January 2019 and close on 31st March 2019.
The applications has to be submitted ONLINE only from clatconsortiumofnlu.ac.in website.

ELIGIBILITY

UG Programme

1. There will be no upper age limit for UG Programme in CLAT 2019.
2. As regards minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying examination (i.e., 10+2 or an equivalent examination), the candidates must have secured:
i). Forty five percent (45%) marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCIcategories
ii). Forty Percent (40%) marks or equivalent in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.
3. Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination in March/April, 2019 are also eligible to appear in CLAT-2019 examination. However, they shall be required to produce an evidence of their passing the qualifying examination at the time of admission, failing which they shall lose their right to be considered for admission.
4. The result of the qualifying examination (i.e., 10+2) shall be submitted by the candidate at the time of admission failing which the candidate shall be ineligible for admission to the Course.
5. In case of equal marks, the break of tie shall be by the following procedure and order as under:
i). Higher marks in the component /section on legal aptitude in the CLAT-2019 exam;
ii). Higher age;
iii). Computerised draw of lots.

PG Programme

1. An LL.B Degree or an equivalent examination with a minimum of Fifty five percent (55%) of marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI categories and Fifty percent (50%) of marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.
2. Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in April/May 2019 are also eligible to apply.
3. No upper age limit is prescribed for appearing in CLAT-2019.

SYLLABUS

UG Programme

Scope and coverage of questions under different subject areas:

English including comprehension:

The English section will test the candidate's proficiency in English based on comprehension passages and grammar. In the comprehension section, candidates will be assessed on their understanding of the passage and its central theme, meanings of words used therein, etc. The grammar section requires correction of incorrect grammatical sentences, filling of blanks in sentences with appropriate words, etc.

General Knowledge and Current Affairs:

The General knowledge will be evaluated on the general awareness including static general knowledge. Questions on current affairs will test the candidate's on their knowledge of national and international current affairs.

Mathematics:

This section will test the candidate's knowledge on elementary mathematics, i.e., maths taught upto 10th Class/Standard.

Legal Aptitude:

This section will test the candidate’s interest towards the study of law, research aptitude and problem solving ability. Questions may include legal propositions (described in the paper), and a set of facts to which the said proposition has to be applied. Some propositions may not be “true” in the real sense, candidates will have to assume the “truth” of these propositions and answer the questions accordingly.

Logical Reasoning:

The purpose of the logical reasoning section is to test the candidate’s ability to identify patterns, logical links and rectify illogical arguments. It may include a variety of logical reasoning questions such as syllogisms, logical sequences, analogies, etc. However, visual reasoning will not be tested.

The pattern of the question paper for admission to the Post-Graduate Course for CLAT-2019 is as under:

Duration of CLAT-2019 Exam- 02:00 Hours
Multiple-Choice Questions- 100 questions of one mark each
Subjective Questions- 50 Marks (Two Essay type questions each of 25 Marks)

Syllabus:

Constitutional Law- 40 Marks
Other Law Subjects such as Contract, Torts, Criminal Law, International Law, IPR and Jurisprudence.- 60 Marks
Negative Marking- 0.25 Mark will be deducted for each wrong answer

CLAT 2019 Exam

The CLAT 2019 examination will be held on Sunday, the 12th May 2019 (3:00 PM to 5:00 PM)
The CLAT 2019 examination will be held in OFFLINE mode

How To Apply for CLAT 2019 

The candidates are first required to register themselves at the CLAT-2019 website by using personal mobile number and e-mail Id. Upon registration, an OTP will be sent to the given mobile number for validation. Once your mobile number is validated, you can login using your mobile number and the password you provided at the time of registration.
Fill the form carefully. The Name of the candidate and the parents should be spelt correctly in the application as it appears in the Certificates/Mark sheets/Identity proof. Any change/alteration found may disqualify your candidature.
No alteration/editing in the online application form can be done after successful submission/final submission of the form. The information once furnished by the candidate with regard to the category to which the candidate belongs, the preference for the NLUs and the Centre of the Entrance Test submitted by the candidates through online application mode shall be final and no change whatsoever, shall be allowed thereafter under any circumstances.

The candidate shall fill his/her preference order for all 21 NLUs at the time of online application itself. No change shall be allowed in the preference once the form is submitted by the candidate.

NOTE:

i. The original certificates/documents issued by the competent authority as specified in the brochure are to be submitted to the allotted University in the form and manner as specified by the respective universities at the time of admission.
ii. The photograph and signature of the candidate need not be attested while submitting the Online Application Form.
iii. No hard copy of the filled in online application form is to be sent to the CLAT Consortium Office.
iv. All documents/certificates should be uploaded in pdf format only.

Application fees can be paid only online.
Application fee for General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI candidates : Rs.4,000/-
Application fee for SC/ST/BPL category candidates: Rs.3,500/-

Admit Card/Hall ticket

The Admit Card/Hall ticket can be downloaded by the candidate by logging into his/her account. The exact date on which the hall tickets will be made available will be intimated on the website.

Admission Procedure

The admission to UG and PG programmes in participating universities under CLAT-2019 shall be completed through centralised online counselling conducted by the CLAT Consortium Office. The basis of allotment of seats shall be 'merit-cum-preference', i.e., the CLAT Rank, the order of preference given by the candidate in the CLAT application form and the category/categories selected by the candidate in the online application form and the number of seats and their division/break-up as available in each of the participating NLU. Online counselling shall start after the declaration of CLAT-2019 results.

Note- 

1. Information regarding the details of intake, reservation policies and the courses offered along with the fee structures of various participating National Law Universities is available in the Information Brochure which can be accessed from the official website of CLAT and also from the websites of the participating NLUs. 
2. If a candidate has filled-in more than one online application form, the candidate's last online application form only will be considered. In such cases, the application fee for the previous application forms will not be refunded.
The allotment of seats and the offer for admission under CLAT-2019 shall be provisional and shall not create any right of admission in favour of a candidate.

Selection Process- 

As per notification G.S.R.-10/const./Art. 309/2018, dated 13.02.2018 issued by General Administration Department, Haryana Government, the commission shall make selection and recommendation of the name of the candidates to a department or an office for Group ‘C’ posts on the basis of written exam and there shall be no interview.
The scheme of marks in respect of selection to Group ‘C’ posts shall comprise of total 100 marks, which is detailed below:- 
1. Written exam: 90 marks 
2. Socio-Economic criteria and experience: 10 marks

The written examination will be either on OMR Sheet based or online computer based (CBT). 

DOCUMENTS TO BE UPLOADED WITH APPLICATION FORM 

i) Scanned Copy of Essential Qualifications i.e. Matric showing Date of Birth and mark sheet of 10+2/Graduation/Diploma/Degree etc. 
ii) Scanned Copy of Sport Gradation Certificate in case of Eligible Sports Persons, duly issued by the Competent Authority. 
iii) Scanned Copy of Haryana Domicile Certificate in case of BCA/BCB/SC/ESM/ DESM/DFF and women issued by competent authority. 
iv) Copy of Challan/credit certificate issued by Treasury/e-Challan as the case may be, in case of candidates who have applied earlier. 
v) Scanned Photographs duly signed by the Candidate. 
vi) Scanned signatures of the Candidate. 

DOCUMENTS TO BE BROUGHT AT THE TIME OF SCRUTINY/SELECTION. 

i) All original certificates/documents/testimonials of educational qualifications and other documents mentioned in the online applications and one set of self attested copies of all these certificates. 
ii) Printed Copy of online application form alongwith latest stamp size photograph duly attested by a gazetted officer and pasted on the application form alongwith date on photograph. 
iii) Original proof of earlier fee deposited i.e. Treasury Challan / Credit Certificate issued by concerned treasury etc.
