SIASTE Admission Notice for B.Sc. B.Ed. & B.A. B.Ed (4 year Integrated Prog) 2022 

State Institute of Advance Studies in Teacher Education (SIASTE), Gurugram, Jhajjar and Kurukshetra invites online applications for admission to following programmes for 2022-26 batch with following intakes. Candidates are required to register them on the CEE-2022 admission portal i.e. https://cee.ncert.gov.in/  upto 30th June, 2022-

Admission Procedure-

The admission to the above courses in the above 3 institutes will be made on the basis of CEE-2022 conducted by NCERT. The candidates seeking admission in  B.Sc. B.Ed. & B.A. B.Ed programme of AIASTE are advised to register them on the CEE-2022 admission portal i.e. https://cee.ncert.gov.in/  upto 30th June, 2022. The admission will be based on merit of CEE-2022 conducted by RIE, Bhopal for NCERT. In nutshell admission to SIASTE invo;ve two stages process- 

Stage-I

Register to CEE-2022 through portal https://cee.ncert.gov.in/ upto 30 June, 2022 and choose Prarambh/SIASTE as your preference. Thereafter complete all the formalities prescribed by CEE-2022, appear in examination, upload marks of qualifying examination (12th or equivalent) and generate the valid score card. 

Stage-II

After declaration of result of CEE-2022 apply separately for admission in SIASTEthrough website www.siaste.ac.in by choosing your preference among SIASTE, Gurugram, Jhajjar or Kurukshetra. Only the candidates with score card of CEE-2022 and eligible as per institute/affiliating University/DHE Haryana norms will be considered for admission in SIASTEs.

Last Date to Apply for CEE-2022

Last date to apply online for CEE-2022 is 30th June, 2022.

Syllabus for CEE-2022

Separate Questions will be administered for the following groups:
Group-A a. B.Sc.B.Ed./ B.A.B.Ed./ M.Sc.B.Ed.
Group-B a. B.Ed./B.Ed-M.Ed
Group-C a. M.Ed.

Level of question paper will be as given below:

Group-A a.The level of questions will be such as expected of the candidate completing higher secondary/senior secondary education
Group-B b.The level of questions will be such as expected of the candidate completing graduation
Group-C c.The level of questions will be such as expected of the candidate completing graduation and professional education level
For all the groups, areas to be tested are
• Language Proficiency
• Teaching Aptitude/Attitude
• Reasoning Ability

No. of test items-80, Time Duration-120 minutes.

Out of 80 questions, Language Proficiency in English 20 questions, Teaching Aptitude/Attitude 30 questions and Reasoning Ability 30 questions.

Medium of Test Booklets – only in English and Hindi (except for language proficiency)

Only one set of booklet will be given for each group.

Correct answer(s) will carry 2 marks each, Wrong answer(s) will carry negative marking of (minus) -0.5 marks each and Question(s) unattended will carry no marks.

Syllabus• 

Language Proficiency indicating specific areas like comprehension, rearranging sentences, selecting suitable words for the blanks, finding out errors in parts of the sentences, finding out equivalent meaning to the given phrases, finding out suitable words for the incomplete sentences, sequencing, grammar which includes synonyms, antonyms, idioms, prepositions, tenses, articles.
• Teaching Aptitude will cover specific areas like attitude towards education, children and teaching profession; interest in teaching; leadership qualities & group management; emotional & social adjustment; intrapersonal & interpersonal skills; and general awareness of contemporary issues pertaining to school education.
• Reasoning Ability indicating specific areas like verbal non-verbal reasoning, missing numbers, number series, letter series, theme finding, jumbling, analogy, odd one out, arranging the statements in a sequential form, statement and conclusions, syllogism, logical problems, establishing relationships.
