Eligibility-

Eligibility Standards for these posts are as under:- 
(i) Age as on 20.05.2023: 
18-25 years (General Category) 
18-28 years (OBC Category) 
18-30 years (SC Category) 

Age Relaxation:- 

Relaxable up to the maximum age of 45 years for Ex-Servicemen/ wives o.f Ex-servicemen as on the cut-off date prescribed for the recruitment i.e. 20.5.2023 
b) Upto seven years relaxation for Chandigarh Home Guard Volunteers provided they are working/on roll continuously for the last 2 years or more, as on 20.05.2023, as under:- 
i) 2 years relaxation for those with a service of 2 years. 
ii) 3 years relaxation for those with a service of 3 years.

Driving Skills

Possession of a valid driving license to drive both, two-wheeler and four-wheel vehicles, is mandatory tor male candidates of all categories as on the date of submission of online application.

Computer Skills:- 

ICT course is mandatory at entry level as per instructions issued by the Chandigarh Administration vide letter No.28/69-IH(12)/Pers. & Trg-2019/17927 doted 25.11.2019. 
Relevant paragraphs from the aforesaid instructions are reproduced below- 
1) The following ICT skills courses are mandatory for all fresh recruitment (Entry Level) and for promotions/grant of benefit under Assured Career Progression Scheme (ACPS) to all Group "A", "B" , "C" and "D" employees of the Chandigarh Administration :- 
2. Course on Computer Concepts (CCC)-80 hours Group- C 

The candidates who have Certificates/Diplomas/Bachelor's OR Master's Degree in Computer Science from a  recognized institution/University shall be exempted from ICT Skills training course. 
The candidates at entry level will submit the certificates of ICT Skills training Course for the above said duration (Group-wise) from a Govt. recognized institution OR a reputed institution which is an ISO 9001 certified OR Deportment of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Course (DOEACC), Govt. of India OR from NIELIT and its authorized institutions at the time of their appointments.

Criteria for Selection, Examination & Syllabus:- 

Written Test: - 

All candidates (including ex-servicemen) shall be put through a OMR Sheet-based written test which shall carry 100 marks. 
The questions shall be multiple choice objective types and will carry one mark for every correct answer and a negative marking of 0.25 for every wrong answer. 
The question paper for the Written Test shall be in Hindi, English and Punjabi. 
Each candidate will be given the test paper only in the language selected by the candidate during the application process. 
Change of medium will not be permitted. 

Cut off Marks for written test/CBT/OMR

The minimum qualifying cut-off marks in the written exam/CBT/OMR for each category shall be as follows:- 
General Candidates 40%
SC Candidates 35%
OBC Candidates 35%
Ex-Servicemen Candidates 30%

Bonus Marks: 

Incentives to NCC Certificate holders will be granted at the following scales as per the instructions of the Govt. of India, Ministry of Home Affairs issued vide letter No.lV/16011/25/2020-CSR-ll dated 20.04 .2020:- 
NCC "C" Certificate 5% of the maximum marks of the examination
NCC "B" Certificate 3% of the maximum marks of the examination

SCHEDULE FOR ADMISSION TO PG PROGRAMS AND LLB (HONS.) 3-YEAR PROGRAM FOR WHICH QUALIFYING EXAMINATION IS GRADUATION INCLUDING SUPERNUMERARY SEATS BEING RUN IN THE UNIVERSITY TEACHING DEPARTMENTS/ INSTITUTES/ CENTRES and MDU-CPAS, GURUGRAM.

Candidates are required to fill single online application form for admissions at M. D. University, Rohtak, and MDU-CPAS, Gurugram including Supernumerary seats.

There shall be common entrance test for 2-Year MBA (General), MBA (Hons.), MBA (Business Economics) Programs offered by IMSAR and MDU-CPAS, Gurugram as well as MHMCT and MTTM Programs offered by IHTM. However, candidates are required to apply separately for the Programs offered by IHTM.

Candidates must fill in their choices of Department/Centre/Institute/Program carefully. For this purpose, the candidate must check the breakup / availability of seats (UTD-Wise and Category-Wise) as mentioned in the Prospectus.

The candidates are required to note that the allotment of seats in case of the Departments/Centres/Institutes offering more than one Program i.e. Psychology, Mathematics, Music and various Departments under Faculty of Life Sciences, IHTM, IMSAR as well as MDU-CPAS,Gurugram, shall be on the basis of the choice exercised by a candidate at the time of counselling.

No document will be accepted after last date of submission of online application form. However, supporting documents related to correction(s) in reservation category and/ or Supernumerary seats / quota may be uploaded on 01.07.2023 & 02.07.2023, if any. For this special provision for correction, the candidate shall have to contact the Helpdesk in the DDE Building, created for the purpose either in person or through e-mail at formcorrection@mdurohtak.ac.in alongwith relevant supporting documents.

No change will be allowed in the following fields after submission of application form:

Fees have to be submitted online through Debit Card/Net Banking only.

Candidate must submit fee receipt to the office of the concerned UTDs in person.

The merit will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in the Entrance Test and seats will be allotted during physical counselling as per schedule.

The candidate shall be personally responsible in case he/she is not eligible to apply as per the given eligibility criteria.

The Candidates shall report to the concerned UTDs/ Institutes/ Centers for Physical Counselling as per schedule given in the Prospectus.

For each round of counseling, a candidate has to report in the concerned Department/Centre/Institute at 9.00 am and mark attendance upto 11.00 am. The Counselling shall start at 11.00 am. However, candidates reporting after 11.00 am will be considered for counselling as per the availablity of seats at that time.

Admissions to M.Sc. Programs offered by Faculty of Life Sciences will be made through Common Entrance Test and will be followed by Common Physical Counselling to be held in R.K. Auditorium. The Department of Genetics will coordinate the Admission and Counselling process.

The Examination Centres, as mentioned on the Admit Card for the Entrance Examinations, will be either at M.D. University Campus, Rohtak or MDU-CPAS, Gurugram.

The candidates must bring all original documents along with two sets of Self Attested Copies at the time of reporting in the concerned UTD.

The candidates are advised to visit the MDU website regularly for updates.

If the seats remain vacant after 3rd Counselling, the same shall be filled up by the concerned Department / Institute/ Center by adopting the following procedure at their own level.
i. Firstly, the vacant seats, if any, will be filled up by the candidates who have appeared in the Entrance Test.
ii. Secondly, the vacant seats, if any, after (i) above, will be filled up by the candidates who have registered for admission but did not appear in the entrance test.
iii. Thirdly, the vacant seats, if any, after (i) and (ii) above, will be filled up on the basis of Academic Merit by inviting fresh applications.
