JEE (Main) 2021 Answer Key

JEE (Main) Feb, 2021 Provisional Answer Keys and Question Paper with Recorded Responses for Answer Key Challenge

The JEE (Main) - 2021 for February Session was conducted throughout the country and abroad from February 23 to 26, 2021 through the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. 

The National Testing Agency has uploaded the Provisional Answer Keys along with the Question Paper with Recorded Responses on the JEE (Main) website https://jeemain.nta.nic.in for candidates to challenge. 
The candidates, who are not satisfied with the answer key, may challenge the same by paying a fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) per question challenged as a non-refundable processing fee. 

This facility is available from 01/03/2021 to 03/03/2021 (upto 05.00 PM). The payment of the processing fee may be made through, Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking/Paytm upto 03/03/2021 (upto 06.00 PM). No challenge will be entertained without receipt of the processing fee.

Challenges made by the candidates will be verified by the panel of subject experts. If found correct, the answer key will be revised accordingly. Based on the revised Final Answer Key, the result will be prepared and declared. No individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance/non-acceptance of his/her challenge. The key finalized by the Experts after the challenge will be final.

SYLLABUS FOR THE HCS (Ex. Br.) AND ALLIED SERVICES  EXAMINATION 2021

The syllabus for the Preliminary Examination as well as Main Written Examination for the posts of Haryana Civil Service (Executive Branch) and Allied Services shall be as under:-

Questions on General Science will cover general appreciation and understanding of science including matters of everyday observation and experience, as may be expected of a well educated person who has not made a special study of any particular scientific discipline. In current events, knowledge of significant national and international events will be tested. In History of India, emphasis will be on broad general understanding of the subject in its social, economic and political aspects. Questions on the Indian National Movement will relate to the nature and character of the nineteenth century resurgence, growth of nationalism and attainment of Independence. In Geography, emphasis will be on Geography of India. Questions on the Geography of India will relate to physical, social and economic Geography of the country, including the main features of Indian agricultural and natural resources. Questions on Indian Polity and Economy will test knowledge on the country‘s political system and Constitution of India. Panchayati Raj, social systems and economic developments in India. On general mental ability, the candidates will be tested on reasoning and analytical abilities.

Minimum Educational Qualifications:

Candidates must possess a Bachelor Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce or an equivalent degree from a recognized University as on 02.04.2021(Closing date).

Note:

Candidates are directed to ensure that they are in possession of all the certificates / documents in support of their claim, which have been issuedon or before the closing date i.e 02.04.2021. 
The certificates issued after the closing date will not be accepted by the Commission

Age Limits for HCS (Ex.Br.) and Allied Service:

The candidate (except for the post of DSP) should not be less than 18 years and not more than 42 years of age, on or before 01.01.2021. 
For the post of DSP, a candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 27 years of age on or before 01.01.2021.

The relaxation in maximum age for various categories is available as per norms.

The tentative Schedule for the conduct of Examination for the above posts is as under:-

HOW TO APPLY:

HCS (Ex. Br.) & Other Allied Services  Examination Pattern:

HCS (Ex. Br.) & Other Allied Services Examination will consist of 3 successive stages.

(A) Preliminary Examination (for screening only) 

It shall comprise of two papers:    :Total 200 Marks (Objective type / Multiple Choices)
Paper –I: General Studies :100 Marks
Paper –II:Civil Services Aptitude Test:100 Marks

Note 1:

i) Both the Question papers shall be of objective type (multiple choices) questions and each paper shall be of two hours duration.'

ii) Both the Question papers shall be set bilingual i.e.in English and Hindi. 

iii) For each wrong answer, one fourth (0.25) mark shall be deducted.

iv) The Paper –II i.e. Civil Services Aptitude Test shall be a qualifying paper with minimum qualifying marks fixed at 33%.

v)The result of preliminary examination shall be based on the marks obtained in Paper –I only, provided that the candidate has scored 33% marks in Civil Services Aptitude Test (Paper -II).

Note 2:

The Preliminary Examination is only for short listing of category wise candidates on the basis of marks obtained by them in the subject of General Studies (Paper -I) only, provided that the candidate has scored 33% marks in Civil Services Aptitude Test (Paper -II). The marks obtained in Preliminary Examination will not be counted towards final selection.

Note 3:

Based on the Preliminary Examination result, candidates twelve (12) times the number of advertised posts including bracketed candidates, if any,in order of merit, will be admitted to the Main Examination. 

Note 4:

The candidates who are declared by the Commission to have qualified for admission to the Main Examination will have to submit scanned documents/certificates in support of date of birth, category {viz. SC/ BCA / BCB /EWS/ ESM / DESM / DFF /ESP/ PwBD} and educational qualification online after the declaration of the result of Preliminary Examination.

a) It shall comprise of four papers : Total 600 Marks

Paper –I: English(including English Essay): 100 Marks
Paper –II:Hindi (including Hindi Essay): 100 Marks (in Devnagri Script)
Paper –III :General Studies: 200 Marks

(D) Personality Test / Viva-voce-75 Marks

(i) Candidates thrice (three times) the number of advertised posts including bracketed candidates, if any, in order of merit in the main written examination will be called for PersonalityTest (Viva-voce).

(ii)The candidate will be interviewed by a Board.He/Shewill be asked questions on matters of general interest. The object of the interview is to assess the suitability of the candidate for a career in public service,by a board of competent and unbiased observers. The test is intended to judge the mental caliber of a candidate. In broad terms, this is really an assessment of not only his intellectual qualities but also social traits and his interest in current affairs. Some of the qualities to be judged are mental alertness, critical powers of assimilation, clear and logical exposition, balance or judgment, variety and depth of interest, ability for social cohesion and leadership, intellectual and moral integrity. 

(iii)The technique of the interview is not that of a strict cross-examination but of a natural though directed and purposive conversation which is intended to reveal the mental qualities of the candidate. 

(iv)The interview test is not intended to be a test either of the specialized or general knowledge of the candidates which has been already tested through their written papers. Candidates are expected to have taken an intelligent interest not only in their special subjects of academic study but also in the events which are happening around them,both within and outside their own State or country,as well as in modern currents of thought and in new discoveries which should rouse the curiosity of well educated youth. 

(E) Final Selection

The final selection shall be based on the merit list to be prepared on the basis of the total marks obtained by the candidates in the Main Written Examination and Viva-voce/ Personality Test i.e. out of 675 marks,and keeping in view the preference of services/ posts exercised by the candidates.

Exercising of Preference of services/posts by the candidate:

(i) A candidate may apply for appointment to all or any of the services/posts,online,as advertised by the Commission and he/she will be considered for the service/post he applies. It is also made clear that in case no order of preference is given in the application form, the appointment shall be made strictly in order of merit in the following order to the various services/posts subject to fulfillment of eligibility conditions of posts:-

Applied anatomy including blood & nerve supply of upper & lower limbs, head & neck.

a)ANATOMY OF HEAD AND NECK:

Cranial and facial bones(maxilla & mandible), foramina & sinuses of the skull, scalp, anterior & posterior triangles of the neck, TMJ, myofacial pain dysfunction syndrome, muscles of mastication and facial expression, muscles of tongue & its nerve supply, arterial supply and venous drainage of the head and neck, structure and function of the brain, brief considerations of V, VII, XI, XII, cranial nerves and autonomic nervous system of the head and neck, Facial Nerve & its branches, Trigeminal Nerve, salivary glands, tooth eruption.

b)EMBRYOLOGY:

Development of the face, tongue, jaws, TMJ, tooth formation.

c)DENTAL ANATOMY: 

Anatomy of primary and secondary dentition, tooth morphology (Enamel, Dentine, Cementum, Pulp), concept of occlusion, mechanism of articulation and masticatory function, root length, root configuration, tooth-numbering systems & age changes.

Dental Surgeon Recruitment Test Schedule-

It is hereby announced for the information of the candidates who have applied for the 81 posts of Dental Surgeon (Class -II) in the Health Department, Haryana, in response to the Advt.No. 02/2021 published on 25.02.2021, in various newspapers that the commission has decided to conduct a Computer based Test for the above said posts on dated 21.05.2021.

Selection Criteria:

i. Weightage of the Computer based Test- 87.5% 
ii. Viva-voce- 12.5%

No candidate shall be called for the interview viva-voca unless he/she obtains at least fifty percent marks in the Written Test. However, for the candidates belonging to the Scheduled caste, Backward classes-A, Backward classes-B, persons with Benchmark disabilities and ex-servicemen (but not Dependents of ESM) Categories, the qualifying marks for this purpose shall be forty five percent.

It is for the general information of all the candidates that due to the prevailing conditions caused by the Novel Corona Virus (COVID-l9), health consideration & lock-down restrictions, the Haryana Public Service Commission has decided to defer all the examinations scheduled for 21.05.2021, 22.05.2021 & 30.05.2021 (list enclosed). As and when the Commission decides to conduct these examinations, the information will be made available on the Commission's website hpsc.gov.in
