LUVAS Hisar Admission Schedule 2021-22
The Offline application forms for admissions in Post-Graduate Programmes are invited by Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Hisar from intending candidates.
The Schedules of above mentioned Programmes are as under:

Form Submission Address
The candidates seeking admission in Post-Graduate Programmes have to submit Application Form offline by post/by hand in the office of Dean, PGS, LUVAS, Hisar.
Eligibility for M.V.Sc. Programme:
i) The B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree must be from a college recognized by the Veterinary Council of India (VCI) and that college must be within the list of VCI Schedule of recognized veterinary colleges /institutes otherwise the candidate will not be eligible for entrance test and no admit card will be issued to such candidate and application form fee will not be refunded.
ii) The candidates must have completed internship of the Bachelor programme and notification issued upto the date of Counseling.
iii) The candidate must be registered with the State Veterinary Councilor Veterinary Council of India.
iv) The applicant must ensure, before submitting the application form that he/ she fulfills all the eligibility requirements at the time of counseling failing which, he/ she will not be considered for admission and the university will assume no responsibility for any inconvenience/hardship caused to the candidate on this account.
v) For availing benefits of Haryana Govt. Schemes please enclose copy of Parivar Pehchan Patra (Family ID) along with application form.
vi) Copy of Aadhar Card.
vii) The candidates claiming admission against the seats for Kashmiri Migrants are required to submit the Kashmiri Migrant Certificate issued by the competent authority. The domicile requirements are waived off for Kashmiri Migrants only, whereas, the Kashmiri Pandits /Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrants) living in the Kashmir Valley need domicile certificate
viii) The candidates belonging to Jammu & Kashmir State claiming reservation against the J&K resident
seat are required to submit Jammu & Kashmir State Resident Certificate issued by the competent
authority.
ix) Proof of COVID-19 vaccination certificate.
Eligibility for M.Tech. Programme:
i) The minimum qualification for Master‘s Degree Programme is B. Tech. (Dairy Technology) from a University recognized/accredited by the UGC/ ICAR.
ii) The minimum eligibility qualification for admission to M.Tech. Programme is OCPA/OGPA 6.00/ 10.00 or 60% marks in aggregate in the B.Tech. Programme from a recognized institute/ college/ university established by law in India.
iii) The applicant must ensure, before submitting the admission form that he/ she fulfills all the requirements at the time of Counseling failing which, he/ she will not be considered for admission and the university will assume no responsibility for any inconvenience/hardship caused to the candidate on this account.
iv) Copy of Aadhar Card.
v) For availing benefits of Haryana Govt. Schemes please enclose copy of Parivar Pehchan Patra (Family ID) along with application form.
vi) Proof of COVID-19 vaccination certificate.
Eligibility for Ph.D. Programme:
i) The candidate must have obtained B.V.Sc.&A.H. and M.V.Sc. degree from a college recognized by the Veterinary Council of India (VCI) and that college must be within the list of VCI Schedule of recognized Veterinary Colleges /Institutes.
ii) The candidates must have completed Master's programme and result notified. However, the candidates who have completed all the requirements for Master's programme and have passed the viva-voce examination may also be considered for admission in order of their merit in the entrance test. If the Master's degree and transcript are not issued to them by the University till the date of Counseling, they shall have to produce a certificate from the Dean, Post-graduate Studies/Registrar of their University indicating the OGPA and date of qualifying the viva-voce examination and notification of completion of M.V.Sc. degree.
iii) The minimum educational eligibility for admission of fresh as well as in-service candidates shall be 65% marks (where OGPA is not given) or an Overall Grade Point Average of 6.5 (10.00 basis) in M.V.Sc. in the subject concerned from a VCI recognized Veterinary College/Institute.
iv) Such candidates who have not obtained B.V.Sc.&A.H. and M.V.Sc. degree from a veterinary college/institute recognized by VCI will not be eligible for admission to Ph.D. programme and application form fee will not be refunded.
v) Copy of Aadhar Card.
vi) For availing benefits of Haryana Govt. Schemes please enclose copy of Parivar Pehachan Patra (Family ID) along with application form.
vii) The candidate must be registered with the State Veterinary Council/Veterinary Council of India.
viii) Proof of COVID-19 vaccination certificate.
Entrance Test Application Fee
Entrance test, Application processing and Counseling fees (non-refundable) payable through Bank draft in favour of “Registrar, LUVAS, Hisar” payable at Hisar.*Rs.3000/- for General/ESM/FF/PwD/EWS Categories/Kashmiri migrant/J & K resident/Non-migrant.
*Rs.750/- for SC/BC Categories of Haryana State only.
*Rs.4000/- for NRI Applicants.
If admission form is rejected, no amount will be refunded.
Entrance Test :
All the eligible candidates including in-service candidates (except ICAR/ICCR nominees, NRIs and
Foreign Nationals) seeking admission to Ph.D. programme will have to appear in the Entrance Test
(ET) to be held at Hisar on 10.10.2021.
Admissions in M.V.Sc. Programme will be made during the 2nd
semester of the Academic Year 2021-22. Details in this regard will be notified later on.
Syllabus of the entrance test:
(i) For admission to M.V.Sc.: B.V.Sc.&A.H. course curriculum as per Minimum Standards of Veterinary Education (MSVE) as prescribed by VCI.(ii) For admission to Ph.D.; all the courses of concerned discipline of M.V.Sc. programme as per ICAR course curriculum
