Haryana Police Recruitment Knowledge Test Syllabus, Previous Question Paper & Schedule of Test

Knowledge Test (80% weightage):- 

The detailed procedure of Knowledge Test shall be as follows: 

(a) All candidates shall have to undergo a Knowledge Test of eighty (80) marks comprising of objective type, multiple choice questions. 

(b) The Knowledge Test shall be of the objective type having hundred (100) multiple choice questions of 0.80 marks each and test shall be of ninety (90) minutes duration. While each correct answer will get 0.8 marks, there will be no negative marking for wrong answers. It shall be held simultaneously for all candidates. 

Medium of Examination-

The medium of examination shall be Hindi except where the knowledge of English language of the candidates is to be tested. 

Syllabus of Haryana Police Knowledge Test (KT)

(i) The test paper shall include questions on General studies, General Science, Current affairs, General Reasoning, Mental Aptitude, Numerical ability, Agriculture, Animal husbandry, other relevant fields/trades etc.

(ii) There shall be at least (10) questions relating to basic knowledge of computer. 

(iii) The standard of questions shall be as expected of an educated person having passed 10+2 examination of Board of School Education Haryana for the post of Constable and have graduated from a recognized University for the post of Sub-Inspector.

UGC NET/ JRF Exam- 2019 Schedule, Eligibility, Syllabus, Admit Card, Answer Key & Result

On behalf of UGC, the National Eligibility Test (NET) is conducted for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor Both in Indian Universities and Colleges.

Till recently, the CBSE conducted the NET in 84 subjects at 91 selected Cities of spread across the country.

From Dec 2018 onwards, the UGC- NET (for Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor both), will be conducted by the NTA.

The award of JRF and Eligibility for Assistant Professor both OR Eligibility for Assistant Professor only depends on the performance of the candidate in both the papers of NET in aggregate. However, the candidates qualifying exclusively for Assistant Professor are not to be considered for award of JRF. Candidates who qualify the Test for eligibility for Assistant Professor are governed by the rules and regulations for recruitment of Assistant Professor of the concerned universities/colleges/state governments, as the case may be.

Eligibility for NET-2019

Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC (on the website:https://www.ugc.ac.in/oldpdf/consolidated%20list%20of%20All%20universities.pdf) in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. are eligible for this Test.

The Other Backward Classes(OBC) belonging to non-creamy layer/Scheduled Caste(SC)/Scheduled Tribe(ST)/ persons with disability(PwD) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master s degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this Test.

Candidates who are pursuing their Master's degree or equivalent course or candidates who have appeared for their qualifying Master s degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited or candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this test. However, such candidates will be admitted provisionally and shall be considered eligible for award of Junior Research Fellowship/eligibility for Assistant Professor only after they have passed their Master's Degree OR equivalent examination with at least 55% marks (50% marks in case of OBC falling in Non-Creamy layer/SC/ST/PwD (persons with disability)) category candidates. Such candidates must complete their Masters degree or equivalent examination within two years from the date of NET result with required percentage of marks, failing which they shall be treated as disqualified.

Candidates belonging to third gender in other words transgender would be eligible to draw the same relaxation in fee, age and qualifying criteria for NET (i.e. Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor) as are available to SC/ST/PwD categories. The subject wise cut-offs for this category should be the lowest among those for SC/ST/PwD/OBC NCL categories in the corresponding subject.

The Ph.D. degree holders whose Master s level examination had been completed by 19th September 1991 (irrespective of date of declaration of result) shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks (i.e. from 55% to 50%) for appearing in NET.

Candidates are advised to appear in the subject of their post graduation only. The candidates, whose post graduation subject is not covered in the list of subjects, may appear in a related subject.

Candidates having post-graduate diploma/certificate awarded by Indian University/ Institute or foreign degree/diploma/certificate awarded by the foreign University/institute should in their own interest, ascertain the equivalence of their diploma/degree/certificate with Master s degree of recognized Indian universities from Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi. Age Limit and Relaxation 

(i) JRF: Not more than 30 years as on 01.12.2018. 
A relaxation upto 5 years is provided to the candidates belonging to OBC (Non-creamy layer, as per the Central list of OBC available on website: www.ncbc.nic.in) SC/ ST/ PwD/ Transgender categories and to women applicants. Relaxation will also be provided to the candidates having research experience, limited to the period spent on research in the relevant/related subject of post-graduation degree, subject to a maximum of 5 years, on production of a certificate from appropriate authority. Three years relaxation in age will be permissible to the candidates possessing L.L.M. Degree. A relaxation of upto 5 years is provided to the candidates who have served in the armed forces subject to the length of service in the armed forces upto the first day of the month in which the concerned UGC-NET is to be held. Total age relaxation on the above ground(s) shall not exceed five years under any circumstances. 

(ii) Assistant Professor: There is no upper age limit for applying for Assistant Professor.

Admit Card for UGC-NET December, 2018 

The Admit Card is issued provisionally to the candidates, subject to their satisfying the eligibility conditions. The candidate has to download the Admit Card from the NTA’s website w.e.f. 19.11.2018 onwards and appear for the Examination at the given Centre on Date and Shift (Timing) as indicated in their Admit Card. 
No candidate will be allowed to appear at the examination center, on Date and Timings other than that allotted to them in their Admit card. 
In case candidates are unable to download Admit Cards from the website, the candidate should approach the Help Line between 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. from 19.11.2018 to 25.11.2018.

Answer Key

The NTA will display Answer Key of the questions on the NTA’s website www.ntanet.nic.in to provide an opportunity to the candidates to challenge the Answer Key. The Answer Keys are likely to be displayed for three to five days. The Candidates will be given an opportunity to make a challenge online against the Answer Key on payment of ` 1000/- per question challenged as processing charges.
The NTA’s decision on the challenges shall be final and the result will be declared on the basis of final answer keys. No grievance with regard to answer key(s) after declaration of result of UGC NET December, 2018 will be entertained.

Display of Recorded Responses 

The NTA will display the recorded responses of all the candidates on the NTA’s website www.ntanet.nic.in prior to declaration of result. The recorded responses are likely to be displayed for three to five days.

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) MAIN will be conducted by the NTA from 2019 onwards. This Examination was being conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) till 2018.

JEE Main is applicable for admission to NITs, IIITs and CFTIs participating though Central Seat Allocation Board subject to the condition that the candidate should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12th class examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class examination.

JEE Main Schedule 2019

Now students will get Two chance in a year. First in January and Second in April. Result of both exams will be declared separately but merit list will be common. The highest score will be considered for admission.

Mode of Examination: 

JEE (Main)-2019 will be conducted in the following mode:

(b) Paper-2 (B. Arch/ B.Planning): Mathematics- Part I and Aptitude Test-Part II in “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode only and Drawing Test –Part III in “Pen & Paper Based”(offline) mode to be attempted on drawing sheet.

Type of Examination: 

JEE (Main)–2019 shall have two papers, Paper-1 (B. E. /B. Tech.) and Paper-2 (B. Arch. /B.Planning). Candidates may take Paper-1 (B. E. /B. Tech.), or Paper-2 (B. Arch. /B.Planning), or both as per the course(s) they are seeking admission to.

Choice of Medium of Question Papers: 

The medium of Question Paper shall be in English, Hindi and Gujarati. The option of question paper language should be exercised while filling up the Application Form and it cannot be changed at a later stage.

Eligibility for JEE Main- 2019

Age Limit 

For appearing in the JEE (Main) examination there is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed XII examination in 2017, 2018 or appearing in 2019 irrespective of their age can appear in JEE (Main) examination–2019. The candidates should satisfy themselves about the eligibility of age limit requirements of the Institutes in which he/she is desirous of taking admission.

Year of Appearance in Qualifying Examination (QE): 

Only those candidates who have passed their Class 12th Examination or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2017 or 2018; or those who are appearing in their Class 12th Examination or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2019 are eligible to appear in both January, 2019 and April, 2019 JEE(Main)-2019 Examination. 
Candidates who passed Class 12th/Qualifying examination in 2016 or before as well as those who will appear in such examination in 2020 or later are not eligible to appear in JEE (Main)–2019.

Number of subjects in the Qualifying Examination (QE): 

Candidates must have taken at least five subjects in class 12th/qualifying examination in order to be eligible for writing JEE (Main)-2019. The candidates who have taken four subjects are not permitted to write JEE (Main)- 2019 and if such candidates appear in JEE (Main)-2019 by furnishing wrong information, their rank/result will not be declared.

Subject combinations 

Subject combinations required in the qualifying examination for admission to B.E./B.Tech. & B. Arch./B. Planning Courses in NITs, IIITs, and other CFTIs is as under:-

B.E/B.TECH 

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject.

B.ARCH./B.PLANNING 

Passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics.

The above mentioned policy could also be adopted by other Technical Institutions participating in counselling through JoSAA/CSAB. In case a State opts to admit students in the engineering Colleges affiliated to State Universities, the State may prepare separate rank list based on criteria decided by them.

The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG will be conducted by the NTA from 2019 onwards. This Test was being conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) till 2018. NEET (UG) is applicable for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in India in Medical/Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India except for the institutions established through an Act of Parliament i.e. AIIMS and JIPMER Puducherry.

The responsibility of the NTA will limited to the conduct of the entrance examination, declaration of result and providing All India Rank to the Directorate General Health Services, Government of India for the conduct of counselling for 15% All India Quota Seats and for supplying the result to state/other Counselling Authorities.

NTA NEET UG Schedule 2019

NEET-2019 will be conducted only once in the month of May, 2019 and it will be traditional pattern based on Paper-Pen mode.

Eligibility for NEET-2019

Age Limit-

Eligibility for appearing in NEET (UG) is as stipulated in Indian Medical Council Act-1956/Regulations as amended in 2018 and the Dentists Act-1948/Regulations as amended in 2018. Eligibility as per related regulations is as follows:- 
(a) He/she has completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year MBBS/BDS Course. 
(b) The upper age limit for NEET(UG) is 25 years as on the date of examination with relaxation of 5 years for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category and persons entitled for reservation under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.
(c) Indian Nationals, Non Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizen of India (OCIs), Persons with Indian Origin (PIOs) & Foreign Nationals are eligible to appear in NEET (UG)-2018. (As per letter no. U.12023/16/2010-ME-II dated 13.01.2016. of MoH & FW)

Educational Qualifications-

CODE : 01
A candidate who is appearing in the qualifying examination, i.e., 12th Standard in 2018, whose result is awaited, may apply and take up the said test but he/she shall not be eligible for admission to the MBBS or BDS, if he/she does not pass the qualifying examination with the required pass percentage of marks at the time of first round of Counselling. 
OR 
CODE : 02 The Higher/Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher/Senior Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of such study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology (which shall include practical tests in these subjects) and Mathematics or any other elective subject with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training after introduction of the 10+2+3 educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education. Provided that 2 year of regular and continuous study of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology taking together shall be required at 10+2 level for all the candidates. Candidates who have passed 10+2 from Open Schools or as private candidate shall not be eligible to appear for NEET (UG). Furthermore, study of Biology/Bio-technology as an additional subject at 10+2 level also shall not permissible. 
NOTE: where the course content is not as prescribed for 10+2 education structure of the National Committee, the candidates will have to undergo a period of one year pre - professional training before admission to the Medical Colleges.

CODE : 03 The Intermediate/Pre-degree Examination in Science of an Indian University/Board or other recognised examining body with Physics, Chemistry, Biology /Bio-technology (which shall include practical test in these subjects) and also English as a compulsory subject. 
OR 
CODE : 04 The Pre-professional/Pre-medical Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology & English after passing either the Higher Secondary Examination or the Pre-University or an equivalent examination. The Pre-professional/Pre-medical examination shall include practical test in these subjects and also English as a compulsory subject. 
OR 
CODE : 05 The first year of the three years‟ degree course of a recognised University with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology including practical tests in these subjects provided the examination is a University Examination and candidate has passed the earlier qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Bio-technology with English at a level not less than a core course.

CODE : 06 B.Sc. Examination of an Indian University provided that he/she has passed the B.Sc. Examination with not less than two of the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology)/Bio-technology and further that he/ she has passed the earlier qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

CODE : 07 Any other examination which in scope and standard (Last 02 years of 10+2 Study comprising of Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology; Which shall include practical test in these subjects) is found to be equivalent to the Intermediate Science Examination of an Indian University/Board, taking Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology including practical tests in each of these subjects and English.

Removal of Upper Age Limit and Extension of Date for filling Online Application Form 

Online applications have been invited for NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (UG) – 2019 [NEET (UG)-2019] to be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in India in Medical/Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, except for the institutions established through an Act of Parliament i.e. AIIMS and JIPMER, Puducherry. 
In view of the Hon’ble Supreme Court’s Order in SLP (C) No(s). 14320/2018 and in other connected matters, dated 29th November, 2018, the petitioners / candidates who are 25 years of age and above shall be entitled to apply and appear in the NEET (UG)-2019 examination provisionally subject to final outcome of these matters. Accordingly the eligibility conditions regarding age limit is revised as under: 

For Candidates of Unreserved category (UR)    

Existing age limit: Born on or between 05.05.1994 and 31.12.2002       
Revised age limit: Born on or before 31.12.2002

SC/ST/OBC/PwD Category 

Existing age limit: Born on or between 05.05.1989 and 31.12.2002 
Revised age limit: Born on or before 31.12.2002

Last Date

Accordingly, the last date for filling up online application form has been extended by one week i.e. from 30.11.2018 to 07.12.2018 and fee payment from 01.12.2018 to 08.12.2018 (through Credit/Debit Card/Net-Banking/UPI upto 11:50 p.m. of 08.12.2018 and through e-challan (SBI) upto bank hours of 08.12.2018). 
The date is also extended in view of the Order passed by the Hon’ble High Court of Madras, Madurai Bench. 
There is no change in the remaining conditions.

MBBS/ BDS Fresh Counselling for Admission in Haryana

Admission to UG (MBBS/BDS) Courses in Government/Government Aided/ Private Unaided Medical/Dental Institutes including those under SGT University, Budhera, Gurugram (Private University) in the State of Haryana for the Academic Session 2018-19

Director Medical Education & Research, Haryana has notified that in view of the orders of the Hon’ble Punjab and Haryana High Court in CWP No. 15731 of 2018 dated 07.08.2018, the first round of counseling held on 03/04.07.2018 conducted by the State Government stands cancelled. The State Government will be conducting FRESH round of Combined Centralized Counseling for Admission to UG (MBBS/BDS) Courses in Government/Government Aided/ Private Unaided Medical/Dental Institutes including those under SGT University, Budhera, Gurugram (Private University) on the basis of merit of NEET-UG 2018 for the Academic Session 2018-19. 
The fresh schedule of the counseling is as under:

1st Round of counseling

1. Display of merit list- 22.08.2018 
2. Counseling 
23.08.2018 (for Govt. Medical/Dental Colleges) & 
24.08.2018 (for Pvt. Medical/Dental Colleges) 
3. Last date of joining the institutes 25.08.2018 

2nd Round of counseling (including NRI) 

4. 2nd round of counselling- 27.08.2018 
5. Last date of Joining the institutes- 28.08.2018 

Mop Up round 

6. Opening of the portal for fresh registration for mop up round of counseling- 23.08.2018 to 25.08.2018  
7. Display of merit list for mop up round 27.08.2018 
8. Mop-up Round 29.08.2018 
9. Forwarding the list of students in order of merit equaling to ten times the number of vacant seats to the Medical Colleges by the Counseling Authority (for MBBS Course)- 30.08.2018

Note-

1. The admissions shall be subject to outcome of the SLP No. 21893 of 2018 titled as “Principal Secretary to Government of Haryana V/s Nisha Minor through her father” pending in the Hon’ble Supreme Court. 

2. As per orders of Hon’ble Punjab and Haryana High Court in CWP No. 15731 of 2018, the reservation for admission under BC-A and BC-B category will be provided to candidates with GROSS ANNUAL INCOME upto 6 lakhs with NO further sub classification i.e. upto 3 lakhs and 3 to 6 lakhs. 

3. The candidates will have to deposit the fee in the shape of demand draft/RTGS/Credit card payable to Registrar, Pt. B.D Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak at the time of counseling itself. 

4. Final number of seats under each category and in each institute shall be displayed on the website of Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak www.uhsr.ac.in and also admission web portal www.uhsugadmissions.in The candidates should regularly visit these websites for updates. 

5. Reservation and relaxation in age etc. shall be provided to the candidates of different reserved categories as per State Reservation Policy.

6. The personal appearance of the candidates along with all original documents in front of the Admission Committee at Pt. B.D.Sharma University of Health Sciences Rohtak is mandatory. 

7. Any candidate who fails to deposit original documents and the fee at the time of counseling will not be considered and his/her claim to admission will be forfeited and the seat shall be offered to the next candidate in the order of merit. 

8. Any orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court/Punjab and Haryana High Court/Amendments by the State Government/Government of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare/MCI/DCI shall be applicable. 

9. Admission shall be made to only those institutes which are recognized and approved for admission from MCI/DCI and who have obtained consent of affiliation from the concerned University in accordance with the last date as prescribed by Government of India/Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India/State Government. The institutes that are unable to get affiliation and such approval from MCI/DCI/State Government/University shall not be considered for counseling. 

10. The candidates who will register on the admission webportal from 23.08.2018 to 25.08.2018 for the mop up round will be considered only after exhausting the merit list of candidates who have earlier registered on the admission webportal. 

11. ANY ADMISSIONS MADE BY ANY PRIVATE MEDICAL/DENTAL EDUCATIONAL & RESEARCH INSTITUTES INCLUDING THOSE UNDER PRIVATE UNIVERSITY IN THE STATE AT ITS OWN LEVEL SHALL NOT BE VALID AND SUCH ADMISSIONS SHALL BE CONSIDERED AS NULL AND VOID.
