Interview, Scrutiny of Document and Admit card for the post of Field Inspector (Store) of HAFED, Haryana Against Advt. No. 6/2016, Cat. No. 56. 

HSSC has notified that on the basis of Written Examination (Computer Based Test) held on 30.06.2017 and Scrutiny of Documents on 09.08.2017, 05.09.2017, 12.03.2018 and 09.04.2018 for the post of Field Inspector (Store) of HAFED, Haryana against Advt. No. 06/2016, Category No. 56, the candidates equal to twice the number of vacancies, bearing following Roll Numbers have been called for interview/viva-voce provisionally and further subject to the fulfillment of their eligibility conditions as per advertisement and service rules. The marks secured by the last short listed candidate have been given in bracket.

Interview Schedule-

The interview of the above candidates will be held on 09.05.2018 in Commission's Office. 
The candidates are advised to report at 09.00 A.M. in the Commission office Bays No. 67-70, Sector-2, Panchkula. 
They are also directed to bring all original documents, set of self attested copies of all documents. 
Note- 
In case a candidate does not appear for Viva-Voce/interview, he/she will be given no further opportunity thereafter.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA- 

(A) Essential Academic Qualifications: (AS ON 31.08.2018): 

Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government. 
Those who are in the Final year/ Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31.08.2018. 
Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 31.08.2018. 
Candidates possessing qualification of Chartered Accountant may also apply.

Note: 

i. The date of passing eligibility examination will be the date appearing on the mark sheet or provisional certificate issued by the University/ Institute. In case the result of a particular examination is posted on the website of the University/ Institute, a certificate issued by the appropriate authority of the University/ Institute indicating the date on which the result was posted on the website will be taken as the date of passing. 
ii. Candidate should indicate the percentage obtained in Graduation calculated to the nearest two decimals in the online application. Where CGPA/ OGPA is awarded, the same should be converted into percentage and indicated in the online application. If called for interview, the candidate will have to produce a certificate issued by the appropriate authority inter alia stating the norms of the University regarding conversion of grade into percentage and the percentage of marks scored by the candidate in terms of norms. 
iii. Calculation of Percentage: The percentage marks shall be arrived at by dividing the total marks obtained by the candidate in all the subjects in all semester(s)/ year(s) by aggregate maximum marks in all the subjects irrespective of honours/ optional/additional optional subject, if any. This will be applicable for those Universities also where Class/ Grade is decided on basis of Honours marks only. The fraction of percentage so arrived will be ignored i.e. 59.99% will be treated as less than 60% and 54.99% will be treated as less than 55%. 

(B) Age Limit: (As on 01.04.2018): 

Not below 21 years and not above 30 years as on 01.04.2018 i.e. candidates must have been born not later than 01.04.1997 and not earlier than 02.04.1988 (both days inclusive) 
Relaxation of Upper age limit as per norms.

(C) Other: 

i. Candidates with record of default in repayment of loans/credit card dues and/ or against whose name adverse report of CIBIL or other external agencies are available are not eligible for appointment. 
ii. Candidates against whom there is/are adverse report regarding character & antecedents, moral turpitude are not eligible to apply for the post.

SELECTION PROCEDURE: 

The selection for Probationary Officers will be done through a three tiered process: 

Phase-I: Preliminary Examination: 

Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Test for 100 marks will be conducted online. The test will have of 3 Sections (with separate timings for each section) as follows:
1. English Language- Questions 30, Duration- 20 minutes
2. Quantitative Aptitude- Questions 35, Duration- 20 minutes 
3. Reasoning Ability- Questions 35, Duration- 20 minutes

Selection criteria for Main Examination: 

Category wise merit list will be drawn on the basis of the aggregate marks scored in the Preliminary Examination. Candidates numbering approximately 10 times the numbers of vacancies in each category will be short listed for the Main Examination from the top of the merit list. 

Phase – II: Main Examination: 

Main Examination will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks. Both the Objective and Descriptive Tests will be online. Candidates will have to answer Descriptive test by typing on the computer. Descriptive Test will be administered immediately after completion of the Objective Test. (i) Objective Test: The objective test of 3 hours duration consists of 4 Sections for total 200 marks. The objective test will have separate timing for every section.
I Reasoning & Computer Aptitude- 45 Questions, Duration- 60 minutes
II Data Analysis & Interpretation- 35 Questions, Duration- 45 minutes
III General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness- 40 Questions, Duration- 35minutes
IV English Language- 35 Questions, Duration- 40 minutes
Total- 155 Questions, Duration- 3 hours

(ii) Descriptive Test: 

The Descriptive Test of 30 minutes duration with two questions for 50 marks will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay). 

Penalty for Wrong Answers (Applicable to both – Preliminary and Main examination)

There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. if no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question. 

Selection criteria for Group Exercise and Interview: 

Category wise merit list will be drawn on the basis of the aggregate marks scored in the Main Examination. Candidates numbering up to 3 times (approximately) of the category wise vacancies will be shortlisted for the Group Exercise & Interview from the top of the merit list subject to a candidate scoring minimum qualifying score in aggregate. 

Phase – III: Group Exercises (20 marks) & Interview (30 marks) 

Candidates qualifying for GE & Interview under 'OBC' category would be required to submit OBC certificate containing the 'Non Creamy layer' clause. Candidates not submitting the OBC certificate containing the 'Non Creamy layer' clause and requesting to be interviewed under General category will not be entertained. 

Final Selection 

The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase-I) will not be added for preparing the final merit list for selection. Only the marks obtained in Main Examination (Phase-II), both in Objective Test and Descriptive Test, will be added to the marks obtained in GE & Interview (Phase-III) for preparing the final merit list. The candidates will have to qualify both in Phase-II and Phase-III separately. 
Marks secured by the candidates in the Main Examination (out of 250 marks) are converted to out of 75 and marks secured in Group Exercises & Interview (out of 50 marks) are converted to out of 25. The final merit list is arrived at after aggregating converted marks of Main Examination and Group Exercises & Interview out of 100. The selection will be made from the top merit ranked candidates in each category. 
Results of the candidates who qualify for Main Examination and Group Exercise & Interview as well as the final select list will be made available on the Bank's website.

2. General, OBC 600/- (App. Fee including intimation charges)

HOW TO APPLY: 

Candidates can apply online only from 21.04.2018 to 13.05.2018. No other mode of application will be accepted.

Last Date Extended 

HSSC has notified that Home Department, Notification dated 28th August, 2018 the following amendment has been made, In the Police Rules, 1934 in rule 12.16, in sub-rule (9):- 
I. In clause (a) for sub-clause (i), the following sub-clause shall be substituted, namely:- 
“(i) Five (05) marks shall be given if no person from amongst the applicant’s father, mother, spouse, brother(s) and son(s) is/was/has been a regular employee in any Department, Board, Corporation, Company, Statutory Body, Commission or Authority of Haryana Government or any other State Government or Government of India,” 
II. For the existing proviso at the end, the following proviso shall be substituted, namely:- 
“Provided that no applicant shall be given more than ten (10) marks under any circumstances for socio-economic criteria and experience.” 

In view of above said amendments Commission has decided to give another opportunity to candidates to apply for all the categories of Advt. No 3/2018 i.e. Cat No 1 Male Constable (General Duty), 
Cat No. 2 Female Constable (General Duty), 
Cat No. 3 India Reserve Battalions of Haryana State Male Constable (General Duty), 
Cat No. 4 Sub Inspector (Male), 
Cat No. 5 Sub Inspector (Female). 
The eligible candidates who could not apply earlier may now apply online through the Haryana Staff Selection Commission website i.e www.hssc.gov.in from 16.10.2018 to 22.10.2018 till 11.59 P.M and accordingly, the closing date for deposit of fee will be 25.10.2018 (by 5:00 P.M.). 
The candidates who have already applied against the said Advt. & want to update the relevant field of the application in view of the amendment as mentioned above, may update their applications from 16.10.2018 to 22.10.2018 (by 11:59 P.M.) and thereafter such updated applications shall only be considered.

HSSC has notified that in view of representations received from the general public, it has been decided that the medium of examination shall be bilingual i.e. both in Hindi and English.

Further the word interview existing in Note-1 at page 10 of the advertisement may be read as "at the time of scrutiny of documents"
