Reference Haryana Staff Selection Commission Notice dated 29.03.2023 for conducting the Written Examination (OMR Based) for the various TGT posts (ROH and Mewat Cadre) of Elementary Education Department, Haryana against Advt. No. 02/2023 of various categories.

Selection Criteria

I. Written Examination- 95 Marks 
II. Socio-Economic criteria and experience- 05 Marks  

Pattern-

The examination for the said post will comprise of 100 multiple choice questions of 105 minutes duration (5 Minutes extra shall be given to mark fifth option if candidate does not know the answer. Total time allowed for the paper will be (100+5) 105 minutes including these five minutes). In case a candidate doesn’t mark any of the five options for a question, then 0.95 marks for each un-attempted question shall be deducted. Each question will carry equal marks.

Admit Card-

Admit Card for written examination of the candidates will be uploaded on the Commission Web-site i.e. www.hssc.gov.in shortly. Candidates are advised to read the instructions on the Admit Card carefully and follow the same strictly

Scheme of Pattern for the Posts of PGT Mewat Cadre & Haryana Cadre Advt No. 31/2022 & 32/2022

HPSC has announced for the general information of the candidates who have applied for the post of Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) (Group-B) in various subjects for Mewat Cadre & Rest of Haryana (ROH) Cadre, in response to Advertisement No. 31/2022 & 321/2022, that there will be a recruitment test for the PGT posts of the following subjects:- 
1. Biology 2. Chemistry 3. Computer Science 4. English 5. Hindi 6. History 7. Mathematics 8. Physics 9. Political Science 10. Commerce

Scheme/Pattern of Exam:- 

1. First Stage of Examination:- Screening Test 

a) Total number of MCQs: 100 
(i) Questions will be from the concerned subjects as per syllabus available on the Commission's website and also from the topics of Educational Psychology, Pedagogy, General Awareness, General Mental Ability, Comprehension, Logical Reasoning and Analytical Ability, Decision making and problem solving, Basic numeracy, Data interpretation and the questions related to History, Geography, Polity, Economy and Culture of Haryana. 
b) Total Marks: 100 
c) Time duration of the exam: 02 hours 
d) All questions carry equal marks. 
e) Each question will have five options. The fifth option will be meant for a situation where a candidate intends to leave the question un-attempted. 
f) One-fourth mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. 
g) In case a candidate neither attempts a question nor darkens the fifth option/bubble, then One-fourth mark will be deducted for each such question. 
h) The question paper will be in English and Hindi for the subjects of History, Political Science & Commerce. Rest of the question papers will be in English language only. 
i) A candidate will have to secure a minimum of 25% marks to clear the screening test. 
j) Candidates four times the numbers of advertised posts, category-wise, will be called for the next stage of selection process, provided that they have secured the minimum cut-off marks of 25%. 
k) The marks obtained by the candidates in the screening test will not be counted for final selection because it is only for shortlisting of category-wise candidates. 

2. Second Stage of Examination:- Subject Knowledge Test 

a) Time duration of exam:03 hours 
b) Post-wise/subject-wise syllabus is available on the Commission's website. 
c) The question paper will be in English and Hindi for the subjects of History, Political Science & Commerce. Rest of the question paper will be in English language only. 
d) Total Marks: 150 
e) Paper will be subjective type. 
f) No candidate will be called for the interview/viva-voce test unless he/she secures a minimum of 35%o marks in the test. 
g) The numbers of the candidates called for interview will be two times, including bracketed candidates if any, of the number of category-wise advertised posts provided that they have secured the minimum cut-off marks of 35% 
h) The weightage of the second stage test will be 87 .5o/o 

3. Third Stage of Examination:- Interview 

a) The weightage of the interview will be 12.5% 

4. The final merit list will be prepared by adding the marks of second stage examination and interview

HPSC PGT Recruitment Exam Paper Pattern/Scheme Withdrawn

Withdrawal of Scheme of Pattern for the posts of Post Graduate Teacher (PGT's) (Group-B) in Haryana Cadre (Advt. No. 32/2022)

Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has notified that the announcement of the Commission dated 13.12.2022 with respect to post of Post Graduate Teacher (PGTs) (Group - B) in various subjects for rest of Haryana Cadre in response to Advertisement No. 32/2022 and Mewat Cadre in response to Advertisement No. 31/2022 is hereby withdrawn. 

The new scheme/pattern of recruitment test will be notified in due course.

How to Apply for CSIR NET 2023-

Candidates who desire to appear in Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination December-2022/June 2023, may apply online only, at https://csirnet.nta.nic.in during the period specified above.

Before applying for Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination December-2022/June-2023, candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria as mentioned in the Information Bulletin carefully. 

Application Fee for CSIR NET 2023-

The exam fee is also required to be paid online only through payment gateway using debit/credit cards, internet banking or UPI.

Essential Educational Qualifications:

M.Sc. or equivalent degree/ Integrated BS-MS/ BS-4 years/ BE/ B. Tech/ B. Pharma/MBBS with at least 55% (without rounding off) marks for General (UR)/General-EWS and 50% (without rounding off) for OBC (NCL)/SC/ST, Third gender and Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates.
Candidates enrolled for M.Sc. or having completed 10+2+3 years of the above qualifying examination as on the closing date of online submission of Application Form, are also eligible to apply in the above subject under the Result Awaited (RA) category on the condition that they complete the qualifying degree with requisite percentage of marks within two years from the date of declaration of Joint CSIR-UGC NET Test result, failing which they shall be treated as disqualified.
Such candidates will have to submit the attestation form duly certified by the Head of the Department/Institute from where the candidate is appearing or has appeared (Annexure-VIII).
B.Sc. (Hons.) or equivalent degree holders or students enrolled in Integrated MS-PhD program with at least 55%^ (without rounding off) marks for General (UR)/General-EWS; 50%^ (without rounding off) marks for OBC (NCL)/SC/ST, Third gender, Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates are also eligible to apply.
Candidates with Bachelor’s degree will be eligible for CSIR fellowship only after getting registered/enrolled for Ph.D./Integrated Ph.D. program within the validity period of two years. Candidates possessing only Bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply only for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and not for Lectureship (LS)/Assistant Professor. ^(without rounding off)
B.E./ B.S./ B.Tech./ B.Pharma/ MBBS final year/result awaited candidates are eligible to apply for fellowship only. These candidates will not be eligible for Lectureship/Assistant professor.
B.Sc. (Hons.) final year/Result awaited candidates are not eligible to apply. Specification of degrees (whether Bachelor’s or Master’s) as notified by UGC in its Gazette Notification No. F. 5-1/2013 (CPP-II) dated 5th July, 2014 and as amended from time to time, shall apply.
The eligibility for Lectureship/Assistant Professor of NET qualified candidates will be subject to fulfilling the criteria laid down by UGC. Ph.D. degree holders who have passed Master’s degree prior to 19th September 1991, with at least 50%^ marks are eligible to apply for Lectureship/Assistant Professor only. ^(without rounding off)

Candidates belonging to the Third gender category are eligible to draw the same relaxation in fee, age and Eligibility Criteria for NET (i.e. JRF and Assistant Professor) as are available to SC/ST categories. The subject-wise qualifying cut-offs for this category would be the lowest among those for SC/ ST/ PwD/ OBC–NCL / General-EWS categories in the corresponding subject.

Upper Age limit:

(a) JRF: Maximum 28 years as on 01/07/2022* {upper age limit may be relaxable up to 5 years in case of SC/ST/Third gender/Persons with Disability (PwD) / female applicants and 03 years in case of OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) applicants}. 
*This age limit is applicable for the current examination cycle only.

(b) Lectureship (LS)/ Assistant Professor: No upper age limit.

Candidate can apply for UGC NET December 2022 through “Online” mode only. The Application Form in any other mode will not be accepted.

Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate. More than one application i.e. multiple Application Forms submitted by a candidate will not be accepted

Subject and Syllabus of Test

The List of Subjects and their Codes for UGC-NET December 2022 of UGC NET are given at Appendix -III. A new subject “Indian Knowledge System” (Subject code 103) has been introduced among the list of subjects vide letter no. F.No.4- 1/2018(NET/Policy) dated: 25.10.2022, received from NET Bureau of UGC w.e.f. UGC-NET December 2022.
The candidates may note that the syllabus has been modified and the new syllabus applicable from June 2019 onwards has also been notified through a Public Notice on NTA website. Updated Syllabus for all NET Subjects can be downloaded from the UGC website: https://www.ugcnetonline.in/syllabus-new.php.

National Testing Agency will not provide the copy of syllabus to any candidate.

Medium of Question Paper

(i) The medium of Question Paper shall be in English & Hindi only.
(ii) Option of medium of Question Paper should be carefully chosen by the Candidate, while filling the Application Form online. The option once exercised cannot be changed.
(iii) Candidates opting for Hindi medium in the Application Form will be given bilingual paper, but candidates opting for English medium will be given English version only.
(iv) Candidates are required to answer in the medium as per option exercised in the Application Form.
(v) In case of any ambiguity in translation/construction of a question in the exam, its English version shall be treated as final and the decision of NTA shall be final in this regard
