Counselling Schedule for Admission to B.V.Sc.& A.H All India 15% Quota 2020

Only the candidates who have registered for online counseling shall be eligible for allotment of seats under All India quota. 

Total Seats-

Total number of 607 seats under 15% All India quota will be available for counseling and admission in the recognized Veterinary Colleges during the academic year 2020-21.

ON-LINE REGISTRATION FEE

All candidates desirous of seeking admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H course under 15% All India Quota to visit website www.vcicouonseling.nic.in and fill online registration form pay a non-returnable registration cum counseling fee as under :
a) Rs 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) for General candidates
b) Rs 900/- (Rupees nine hundred only) for EWS /OBC candidates
c) Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only) for SC/ST/PwD (PH) /Transgender candidates.

Mode of Offline payment for Registration Fee: 

i) After filling up online registration form, as above, a Challan for payment of fees will be generated.
ii) For payment of counselling fee, a challan will be generated containing auto generated Account number. The candidates are required to submit the challan for depositing the requisite fee in the Bank. 
iii) You are required to take print out (Two copies) of the challan and can make payment through RTGS/NEFT/Net banking. 
iv) If fee not received application form will be rejected. 
v) The payment through Challan could be made upto 14 hrs (2:00 P.M.) on 11th January,2021. Payment received after this would not be credited.

Important:– 
(i) Detailed information on counseling for admission is available on the Council’s: (http://vcicounseling.nic.in
(ii) Students desirous of taking admission into B.V.Sc. & A.H. course under 15% All India Quota are advised to keep visiting the website mentioned above regularly. 
(iii) The entire process of counselling is online and the students need not send any documents to VCI. 
(iv) The Original documents of the candidate shall be verified by the respective allotted Veterinary College/University at the time of reporting for admission. 
(v) Mop-up Fees collected during Mop-up round shall be refunded to the candidates after proof of admission to the allocated College. The Refund will be sent to the same account from which the fee was paid. No refund shall be given to candidates who have not taken admission or provided proof of admission to the allotted College.

Fees for Mop-up Round Registration-

Mop-up fees for all students interested for seat allocation in the Mop-up round. The proposed Mop-up fee is Rs.20,000/- for General/OBC/EWS category candidates and Rs.10,000/- for SC/ST/PH candidates.

The following candidates are eligible for Mop up round counseling: 

i) Any candidate who had not registered during the previous round of counseling. Such candidate will have to first register on VCI counseling portal by paying of registration of Rs. 1000/-. 
(ii) Previously registered candidate who have not been offered any seat in previous two round of counseling. However, such candidate need not to register freshly for appearing in MOP-UP bur required to pay the MOP-UP fee as stated below. Note : The candidate who have already reported for admission under 15% All India quota shall not be allowed for Mop up round counseling. Mop-up round of counseling will be conducted for the vacant seats, if any, available under 15% All India quota. 
(iii) For MOP UP round the candidates has to make payment of Mop up round fee of Rs 10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) and transaction fee as applicable in the case of General/OBC candidates/EWS/OCI/PIO category and Rs.5,000/- & transaction fee as applicable for SC/ST/PH /Transgender candidates. Thereon the seat will be allotted as per merit (ranking) of him/her and the choice given. 
(iv) Online Registration fees of Mop up round fee mentioned above does not include service charges, processing fees or any other charges. Bank charges if any, shall be borne by the student. 
(v) The payment of Registration fee/Mop up round fee etc shall be made online through Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking. Other mode of payments viz. cash, Cheque, Demand Draft, NEFT/RGTS etc are not allowed. 
(vi) In the event of non receipt of fee in the VCI account as mentioned above, the candidature of the candidate shall be liable to be cancelled. 
(vii) Similarly, in the event of non receipt of Mop-up round fee in the VCI Account Mop up round of counseling as mentioned above, the candidature of the candidate shall be cancelled and such candidate shall not be considered for allocation of seats under of Mop up round. 
(viii) Candidates are advised to exercise their choice for seats for admission in Mop-up Round. 
(ix) The participation fee of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) or Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) as the case may be is returnable/adjustable in case of the candidate who have taken admission to the BVSc & AH course after allotment of seats or those who have not been offered any seats under Mop up round.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR VERIFICATION 

(at the time of reporting/ admission) 
The candidates allotted seats should produce the following documents in original along with self attested copy of the documents for verification at the allotted College/University at the time of reporting/admission failing which, they shall not be entitled for admission at the allotted College. 
▪ Copy of allotment of seats by VCI under 15% All India quota 
▪ Admit Card of NEET UG – 2020 issued by NTA for appearing in the NEET Examination. 
▪ Rank Card of NEET UG – 2020 issued by NTA. 
▪ Aaaddhar Card/Voter ID Card/Ration Card/Passport/PAN as the case may be written in the Application Form of NEET – UG – 2020 (any one of the ID is required as mentioned in NEET application). 
▪ Date of Birth Certificate (if Secondary School Examination Certificate does not have the same) 
▪ Secondary School Examination or equivalent Certificate 
▪ 10+2 Mark Sheet (Qualifying Examination Mark Sheet) 
▪ 10+2 Certificate or Provisional Certificate (Qualifying Examination Certificate). Provisional Certificate is permissible for those candidates who had passed in the year 2020 only. 
▪ Character Certificate from the School or College last attended. 
▪ Six passport size coloured Photographs (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form in NEET UG -2019) and One Postcard size coloured photograph (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form in NEET UG -2020). 
▪ In case of OCI/PIO candidate, he/she has to produce OCI/PIO card issued by the appropriate authority. 
▪ The students educated abroad, equivalency certificate from AIU should be produced 
The candidate should also produce the following certificate in original, if applicable, at the allotted College at the time of reporting/admission. 
(i) SC/ST Certificate as per format given in Annexure-3 issued by the competent authority and should be in English or Hindi. If it is in regional language then it should be translated in English/Hindi and should be attested by Class-I Gazetted Officer. Sub-caste should be clearly mentioned in the certificate.
(ii) OBC Certificate as per format given in Annexure-4 should be issued by the Competent Authority and should be in English or Hindi. If it is in regional language then it should be translated in English/Hindi and should be attested by Class-I Gazetted Officer. The sub-caste should tally with the Central List of OBC. OBC Candidates should not belong to Creamy layer. 
(iii) The disability should be certified by a duly constituted and authorized Medical Board comprising of at least three specialists out of which two should be of the specialty concerned and the candidate has to present him/her – self before the Medical Board. The last valid disability certificate of the candidate from a Medical Board should not be more than three months old from the date of submitting his/her certificate for disabled candidates. The format of Locomotor Disability Certificate to be produced is given in Annexure-5. 
(iv) Certificate for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) those who are seeking admission under EWS category as per Annexure -6.

Notice to candidates who failed to fill choices
