Recruitment of PTIs 2020 against Haryana Staff Selection Commission’s Advt. No. 6/2006, dated 20.07.2006 Cat No. 23
HSSC has notified that in view of the order dated 08.04.2020 of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, in Civil Appeal No. 2103 of 2020 ( arising out of SLP (C) No. 35373 of 2013)- Ramjit Singh Kardam & Ors....Appellant (S) V/s Sanjeev Kumar & Ors. the Haryana Staff Selection Commission invites online application forms through website i.e. www.recruitment-portal.in from all those applicants who had submitted application in response to the advertisement including those who were selected for the post of PTI, Cat No. 23 against Advertisement No. 6/2006, dated 20.07.2006.
The details of such candidates, as available with the Commission, is being placed on the website of HSSC i.e. www.hssc.gov.in and www.recruitment-portal.in. If any candidate had earlier applied against advertisement No. 6/2006, Cat. No. 23 for the post of PTI and his/her name is not found mentioned in the said list, he/she may contact the HSSC office from 19.05.2020 to 22.05.2020 along with proof of depositing the application form, original mark-sheets/certificates, etc. in support of his/her academic qualification and proof of having deposited the requisite fee.
Key Dates-
The online application can be filled up from 26th May, 2020 to 10th June, 2020 till 5.00 P.M. through website i.e. www.recruitmentportal.in.
Eligibility Cut-Off Date-
The eligibility conditions regarding age, academic qualification etc. for the said post will be the same as per Advertisement No. 6/2006, dated 20.07.2006 and will remain unchanged.
Selection Criteria-
In view of order of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, the selection criteria as per criterion notified on 28.12.2006 will be as under:-
“The written examination for the said post will be of advertised qualifications i.e. Matric with Certificate Course in Physical Education in case of PTI.
There will be 100 objective type multiple choice questions (60 questions relation to academic knowledge of the respective subject for which a candidate is appearing in the test and 40 questions relating to General Knowledge, General English and Hindi up to Matric standard and each question will carry two marks).
The candidates will have to secure the minimum qualifying marks in the written test as mentioned below:-
a) General category - 50%
b) SC, BC - 45%
c) ESM - 40%
d) DESM and outstanding sports persons - As for general, SC, BC candidates, as the case may be.
Viva-voce will be of 25 marks.
However, as per law laid down by the Hon’ble Apex Court, candidates equal to three times of the number of vacancies will be called for interview based on their performance in the written test.
The total marks obtained in the written test and viva-voce will determine the merit of the candidates in their respective categories.
Documents to be uploaded with Application Form (MANDATORY)
1. Scanned Copy of Essential Academic Qualifications and Matriculation Certificate showing Date of Birth and other relevant details.
2. Scanned Copy of SC-A, SC-B/BCA/BCB/ESM/DESM/DFF/Outstanding Sport Person, certificate alongwith Haryana domicile Certificate issued by competent authority.
3. Scanned Photo duly signed by the Candidate.
4. Scanned signatures of the Candidate.

A list of such candidates is available on the web-site of HSSC i.e. www.hssc.gov.in and www.recruitment-portal.in. The candidates are advised to go through the list before submission of online application form. If any candidate had earlier applied against advertisement No. 6/2006, Cat. No. 23 for the post of PTI and his/her name is not found mentioned in the said list, he/she may contact the HSSC office from 19.05.2020 to 22.05.2020 along with proof of depositing the application form, original mark-sheets/certificates, etc in support of his/her academic qualification and proof of having deposited the requisite fee.
