HARYANA STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION
EXAM. NOTICE FOR PGT Hindi and English
Haryana Staff Selection Commission will hold written examination at Yamunanagar for the under mentioned posts of PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) of Education Department as per schedule given below-
1. PGT Hindi (Rest of Haryana)

Date and Time of Exam.-
28.02.2016 (Morning) from 10.30 A.M. to 11.45 A.M. Reporting time- 9.00 A.M.
Place- Yamunanagar.
2. PGT English (Rest of Haryana).
(Advertisement No. 4/2015 Category No. 05)
Date and Time of Exam.-
28.02.2016 (Evening) from 03.00 P.M. to 04.15 P.M. Reporting time- 01.30 P.M.
Place- Yamunanagar.
Selection Criteria-
Total Marks: 200
I. Written Examination - 160 marks
The written examination for the above posts will comprise of 80 multiple choice questions and divided into two portions Comprising:-
i.) 75% weightage for General awareness, Reasoning, Maths, Science, English, Hindi etc.(the word etc. means and Includes concerned relevant subject).
ii.) 25% weightage for History, Current Affairs, Literature, Geography, Civics, Environment, Culture etc. of Haryana.
Each question will carry two marks.
II. Experience- 16 marks
(2 marks for each completed period of one year up to a maximum of 16 marks in teaching of relevant Subject)
III. Viva-Voce/Interview- 24 marks
To assess the knowledge of subject, communication Skill, General Knowledge, General awareness and Intelligence.
Note-
The number of candidates called for interview will be twice the number of vacancies.
The total marks obtained in the written test, Experience and viva-voce will determine the merit of the candidates in their respective categories.
Admit Cards-
Admit Card for written examination of the candidates will be uploaded on the Commission Web-site i.e. www.hssc.gov.in
The candidates can download the admit cards from the Commission Web-site from 23rd February, 2016 onwards.
No separate call letters will be sent to the candidates by the Commission through post.
