All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2021 Schedule

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been established by Ministry of Education, Government of India an independent/autonomous, self-reliant and self-sustained premier testing organization. NTA will be conducting the AISSEE-2021 for admission to Class VI and Class IX in 33 Sainik Schools across the country, for the academic year 2021-22. Sainik Schools are English medium residential schools affiliated to CBSE. They prepare cadets to join the National Defence Academy, Indian Naval Academy and other Training Academies, for Officers.

AISSEE 2021 Schedule-

(i) Application form filling- 20.10.2020
(ii) Last Date to Apply- 19.11.2020 Extended upto 18.12.2020
(iii) Correction of details filled in application Form on Website 3rd weekk of December
(iv) Date of exam- 07 February, 2021(Sunday) 
Mode of exam- Pen paper (OMR Sheets based) 
Paper pattern- Multiple Choice questions Exam cities As mentioned in the Information Bulletin 
Duration of examination- 
Exam for admission to Class VI: 150 minutes 
Exam for admission to Class IX: 180 minutes. 
Timings of examination- 
Exam for admission to Class VI: 10.00 am to 12.30 pm 
Exam for admission to Class IX: 10.00 am, to 1.00 pm

Eligibility for admission to Class VI

Candidate should be between 10 and 12 years as on 31.03.2021. Admission for Girls is open in Class VI only in all Sainik Schools.

Eligibility for admission to Class IX

Candidate should be between 13 and 15 years as on 31.03.2021 and should have passed Class VIII, from a recognised school, at the time of admission.

Exam fee

Rs 400 /- for SC/ST and Rs 550/- for all others

How to Apply-

Candidates who desire to appear in the exam may read the detailed Information Bulletin for AISSEE 2021 and apply online only at https://aissee.nta.nic.ac.in between 20th October 2020 and 19th November 2020. The exam fee is also required to be paid online through payment gateway, using debit/credit cards or internet banking or PAYTM Wallet.

Admit Card for the All India Entrance Examination for Sainik Schools (AISSEE)-2021

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the AISSEE-2021 for admission to Class VI and Class IX of the Sainik Schools across the country on 07.02.2021 in the paper pen mode. 

Admit Cards for the examination are hosted on the NTA website https://aissee.nta.nic.in Candidates can download their respective Admit Cards from the said website using their Application Form Number and Date of Birth.

In case of any difficulty in downloading the Admit Card or discrepancy in the data contained therein, candidates may call the NTA Helpline number 0120 6895 200 or write to NTA at aissee@nta.ac.in

Candidates are advised to note the following:

•The Admit Card is issued provisionally to the candidates, subject to the fulfilment of the eligibility conditions. 

•Admit Card will not be sent by post.
•Candidate must not mutilate the Admit Card or change any entry made therein.

•Issue of Admit Card, however, shall not necessarily mean acceptance of eligibility which shall be further scrutinized at subsequent stages of admission process.

•Candidates are advised to preserve a copy of their Admit Card in good condition for future reference.

PASSING MARKS FOR ADMISSION: 

A candidate is eligible for admission to the Sainik Schools, if he/ she secures a minimum of 25% marks in each subject of the exam and 40% marks in aggregate of all the subjects of AISSEE 2021. However, admission will be based on relative merit (in AISSEE) of candidate in his/ her category in the school opted by him/ her, medical fitness and verification of requisite documents. 
However, no minimum marks are prescribed for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe category. They will be admitted on the basis of inter-se merit at the Entrance Examination within their respective categories, subject to medical fitness and verification of requisite documents.

Correction Window

NAT will provide chance for correction in particulars of online application form through correction window. 
Correction window will be available from 21.12.2020 to 25.12.2020 upto 5.00 PM.
