Application Forms for admission to Ph.D. Courses for the Academic Session 2016-17 are invited from UGC/CSIR – NET JRF (with validity period for fellowship) candidates only to be enrolled in May 2017. Application Form is to be submitted to the concerned Chairperson/ Director of the Department/ Institute at University Campus latest by 22.05.2017. The Ph.D. Ordinance, Application Form, Schedule for Admission, Fee Structure, No. of Vacant Seats for admission to Ph.D. Courses available in each Department/ Institute have been uploaded on the University website: www.kuk.ac.in

1. Last date of submission of Application Form in the concerned Department/Institute- 22.05.2017
2. Submission of Application Form with late fee of Rs. 2,000/- 23.05.2017
3. Dates of Enrollment
1 st List to be displayed within 3 days for deposit of Fee- 24.05.2017
2nd List to be displayed within 3 days for deposit of Fee- 29.05.2017
4. Deposit of Coursework Fee- 01.06.2017 & 03.06.2017
5. Commencement of Coursework Classes- 01.07.2017
6. Completion of the Coursework Classes (excluding Winter vacations)- 14.01.2018
10 Conduct of Examination of Course Work and declaration of its Result Upto- 24.01.2018
11 Submission of Synopsis for approval of Research Topic and Research Supervisor by the concerned BOS As per Clause 10 of the Ph.D. Ordinance
Eligibility-
Master’s Degree with 55% marks OR M.Phil. Degree with 55% marks and also having secured 55% marks in Master’s Degree in the main subject (or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto)/allied subject (or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto) OR its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7-point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed, calculations of marks as per CBCS pattern)
A relaxation of 5% marks of 55% marks (2.75%) i.e. from 55% to 52.25% marks in the aforesaid Degrees is allowed for those candidates belonging to SC/ST/ Differently Abled (non-creamy layer) of Haryana.
