CANCELLATION OF STATISTICAL ASSISTANT  EXAM.

Refer Haryana Staff Selection Commission notice dated 19.02.2016 regarding written examination for Statistical Assistant on 20.03.2016. 

HSSC has cancelled the written examination for the post of Statistical Assistant against Advt. No. 7/2015, Cat. No. 20 to be held on 20.03.2016 from 10.30 A.M. to 12.00 Noon. (Morning Session) at Kaithal, keeping in view the convenience of the candidates. 

New Schedule-

The fresh schedule of written Examination for the post of Statistical Assistant , against Advt. No. 7/2015, Cat. No.20 will be published later on.

Note-VLDA examination scheduled for 20.03.2016 will be held as per schedule.

Haryana Staff Selection Commission will hold written examination at Panipat and Kaithal on 20.03.2016 for the under mentioned categories of Posts as per schedule given below-

1. Statistical Assistant


(Advt.No. 7/2015, Category No.20)
Date & time of Examination- 
20.03.2016 (Morning) from 10.30 A.M to 12.00 Noon. Reporting Time- 9.00 A.M.
Place- Kaithal. 

2. Veterinary Livestock Development Assistant (VLDA)

(Advertisement No. 7/2015 Category No. 14)
Date & time of Examination- 
20.03.2016 (Evening) from 3.00 P.M to 4.30 P.M. Reporting time 1.30 P.M
Place- Kaithal. 

Admit Cards- 

Fresh Admit Card for written examination of the candidates will be up loaded on HSSC website www.hssc.gov.in on 15th March, 2016. 

The candidates can download the admit cards from 16th February, 2016.
No separate call letter will be sent to the candidates through post. 

Syllabus and Scheme of Examination- 

The written examination for the above posts will comprise of 100 multiple choice questions and divided in to two portions comprising- 

i) 75% weightage for General Awareness, Reasoning, Maths., Science, English, Hindi etc. (The word etc. means and includes the concerned relevant subject ) 

ii) 25% weightage for History, current affairs, Literature, Geography, Civics, Environment, Culture etc. of Haryana.
Each question will carry 2 marks

Viva-Voce will be of 25 marks. 

Note- The number of candidates called for interview will be twice of the number of vacanciesThe total marks obtained in the written test and viva-voce will determine the merit of the candidates in their respective categories.
