FMGE (Screening Test) Schedule- 2021

The National Board of Examinations shall conduct the next FMGE on 18th June 2021 on a Computer Based Platform at various test centres across the country. 

Please refer to the Information Bulletin at NBE website https://nbe.edu.in (16th April 2021 onwards) for eligibility criteria, fee structure, course curriculum, scheme of examination and other details. 

Application form for FMGE June 2021 session can only be submitted online at https://nbe.edu.in from 16th April 2021 (3 PM onwards) to 6th May 2021 (till 11:55 PM).

What is FMGE ?

FMGE is a Screening Test for Foreign Medical Graduate student to determine their eligibility for licensing purpose, conducted by the National Board of Examinations.
The FMGE-Screening Test has been introduced through Screening Test Regulations 2002. 
As per the regulations, “An Indian citizen/Overseas citizen of India possessing a primary medical qualification awarded by any medical institution outside India who is desirous of getting provisional or permanent registration with Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council on or after 15.03.2002 shall have to qualify a screening test conducted by the prescribed authority for that purpose as per the provisions of section 13 of the Act.
As per the current schedule, the Screening Test is conducted by the NBE in June and December every year.

Eligibility for FMGE-

The candidate must meet/fulfill the following criteria: 

1. He / She is a citizen of India or Overseas Citizen of India. 

2. The candidate should possess a primary medical qualification, which is confirmed by the Indian Embassy concerned, to be a recognized qualification for enrollment as medical practitioner in the country in which the institution awarding the said qualification is situated. 

3. The result of final examination for the said primary medical qualification should have been declared on or before the cut-off date

4. Candidates must note that it is mandatory for them to submit proof /documentary evidence that clearly establishes that the result of the final examination for such a primary medical qualification was declared on or before the cut-off date.

Required Documents for FMGE-

Candidates are therefore advised to apply forthwith for FMGE only if they possess with them all the documents required to apply for the examination, including the Eligibility Certificate (if applicable) and the Provisional Pass Certificate/Degree Certificate of their Primary Medical Qualification.

Note:-

List of children registered, list of eligible children, category-wise list of provisionally selected children, waiting list and subsequent lists to be compulsorily displayed on the web-site of the Kendriya Vidyalayas concerned, in addition to display on School’s Notice Board.

If any of the dates happens to be a public holiday the next working day shall be treated as opening/closing dates.

ELIGIBLE AGE FOR ADMISSION

A Child must be 5 years old as on 31st March in the academic year in which admission is sought for Class I. (Child born on 1st April should also be considered.) 
A. The minimum and maximum age limit for admission in Kendriya Vidyalayas in various classes is given below: (Child born on 1st April should also be considered.)

Note: 

The maximum age limit can be relaxed by two years in case of Differently abled children by the Principal. 

B. There is no age restriction for admission to Class XI provided the student is seeking admission in the year of passing Class X examination. Similarly, there will be no upper & lower age limit for admission to class XII provided there has been no break in the continuous study of the student after passing class XI.

FRESH ADMISSION FOR CLASS X AND XII

Fresh admissions to class X & XII, other than KV students, will be entertained subject to availability of vacancies. Such admissions to class X and XII will be considered by the Deputy Commissioner of the Region concerned, only if, the average strength in class X/XII is below 40. This will further be subject to the following conditions: 
(i) The child has been in the same course of studies i.e. in a CBSE-affiliated school. 
(ii) For Class X, the child must have obtained not less than 55% marks in aggregate in class IX. 
(iii) For admission to class XII, 55% marks in class XI examination is mandatory. 
(iv) The child should otherwise be eligible as per KVS admission guidelines. 
(v) The combinations of subjects opted by the student are available in Kendriya Vidyalayas.

Recruitment of 3479 TGTs, PGTs, Vice-Principals & Principals in the Eklavya Model Residential Schools

The Ministry of Tribal Affairs through its autonomous body, the National Education Society for Tribal Students has embarked on a major drive to fill around 3479 vacancies of teaching staff in the Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) in 17 States across the country. This will result in positioning of quality human resource in the EMRSs resulting in improved educational standards in the EMRSs. The teaching staff in 4 different posts of Principal, Vice Principal, PGTs and TGTs will be recruited through a centralized computer-based test followed by inter-views (excluding TGTs) to be conducted by respective States.

The recruitment drive has been initiated jointly with respective States in order to meet the rising demand of teachers for the clear vacancies in already functional schools and schools going to be functional this year, calculated after excluding the posts currently filled by regular and ad-hoc/contractual staff. Marking Scheme

One mark (+1) shall be awarded to every correct answer and (-0.25) shall be deducted for every incorrect answer. Unanswered/Marked for Review will not be given any marks. e-Admit Card

The e-Admit Card would be issued provisionally to the candidates through the NTA website https://recruitment.nta.nic.in/WebinfoEMRSRecruitment , subject to the fulfilment of the eligibility conditions and receipt of prescribed application fee. The candidate has to download the Admit Card from the NTA website. The candidate will appear in the examination at the given Centre on the date and shift/timing as indicated in his/her e-Admit Card. No candidate will be allowed to appear at the examination centre, on the date and shift/time other than that allotted to him/her in his/her Admit card.

1. Master's degree from a recognized university / institute, and 2. B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized University, and 3. Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium, and 4. Persons working in any of the Govt. / Semi-Govt./Govt. recognized / CBSE affiliated Sr. Secondary (10+2) schools / Inter College. (a) Holding analogous post, or (b) Ten years of experience of teaching (Vice principal / PGT / TGT) in a recognized high school/ Higher secondary school / Senior Secondary School/Intermediate college.
Age limit- Not exceeding 50 years (Age relaxation for SC/ST and others as per Govt. of India rules would be applicable)

For Vice-Principal

Qualification and Experience

1. Master's Degree from a recognized university / institution, and 2. B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized University ,and 3. Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium, and 4. 2 years’ experience of working on the post of PGT or lecturer at level 8 (Rs.47600-151100) in Central/ State Govt./Autonomous organization of central / State Govt. Desirable : 1. Three years’ experience in fully residential school.
Age Limit- 45 years (Age relaxation for SC/ST and others as per Govt. of India rules would be applicable)

For PGTs

Qualification and Experience

1. Two Years Integrated Post Graduate Course from Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate. 
OR 
2. Master’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the following subject: 
a. PGT (English)- English literature 
b. PGT (Hindi) – Hindi or Sanskrit with Hindi as one of the subjects at Graduate level. 
c. PGT (Mathematics)-Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics 
d. PGT (Physics)–Physics / Applied Physics/ Nuclear Physics.

(ii) Bachelor’s Degree with atleast 50% marks in the concerned subject/combination of subject and in aggregate. 
a) For TGT (Hindi): Hindi as a subject in all the three years. 
b) For TGT (English) : English as a subject in all the three years. 
c) For TGT (S.St) : Any two of the following main subject at graduation level: History, Geography, Economics and Pol. Science of which one must be either History or Geography. 
d) For TGT (Maths) –Mathematics as main subject at graduation level with one of the following as second subject: Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, economics, commerce and Statistics. 
e) For TGT (Science)- Bachelor Degree in Science with any two of the following subjects: Botany, Zoology and Chemistry. 
AND 
(iii) B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized University. 
(iv) Pass in the State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper-II, conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose, and 
(v) Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium.
Age Limit- Upto 35 years (Age relaxation for SC/ST and others as per Govt. of India rules would be applicable)

Note:

 Age limit is defined as on date 30th April 2021. 
 In case of candidates applying for the post of TGTs, they should have valid STET/CTET-Paper -II certificate. 
 Necessary certificates, as applicable are required to be uploaded along with the Application Form. 
 In anticipation of huge number of applicants, scrutiny of eligibility criteria etc. may not be undertaken at the time of ETSSE- 2021. Therefore, applications shall be accepted provisionally. 
 Those applying in response to ETSSE- 2021 advertisement should satisfy themselves regarding their eligibility for the post applied for. 
 In case of those candidates who are appearing or have appeared in an exam but final result is awaited, she/he should produce the certificate/Score Card at the time of interview

Domicile Certificate

The recruitment of the teachers shall be State-specific, where the schools are located; and shall be open to the eligible candidates having domicile certificate issued by competent authority of the concerned State.

 Candidates can apply for ETSSE 2021 through “Online” mode only. The Application Form in any other mode will not be accepted.

 Candidates shall ensure that the information entered by them in their respective online Application Form are correct. 
 Information provided by the candidates in their respective online Application Forms, like, name of candidate, contact/ address details, category, PwD status, educational qualification details, date of birth, choice of exam cities, etc. will be treated as final. Any request for change in such particulars after the closure of correction period will not be considered by NTA under any circumstances. Corrections sent by the candidate through Post/ Fax/WhatsApp/Email/by Hand will not be entertained by NTA.
